The Mirage Resort Casino
- What's Included
We had a great time at the Mirage. The location is perfect for first time Vegas travelers- right in the middle of the strip action. Our check in was lackluster as our room was not ready on time. However, we paid extra for the tower room so those are less common. The elevators for the tower rooms were fast and well worth the extra money. The casino is small but adequate. The room was unspectacular but very clean. Housekeeping was great.
This was my 2nd stay @ Mirage. Spend the extra $ if you can & get a room on the 24th/25th Floors. These have private elevators & are much less crowded! Mirage is a busy casino, but is always very clean & easy to navigate. I enjoyed it because it's not "too big" like some of the larger properties where I can get lost. Early mobile check in was easy & guest services was top notch. I didn't get to use the pool, because it was too cool outside for me. Hopefully, next time.
We had a very big room with all necessary stuff for a good stay. Everything was good. The parking was a bit expensive and it is not easy to find an available space at the parking lot, but this was the only downside.
I thought the Mirage was so pretty ( lobby aquarium, beautiful indoor landscaping and gorgeous pool). Actually my husband and I both got Royal Flushes while there and I don't spend that much time gambling - he's a different story. We really liked The Pantry for breakfast and Fin for Chinese. The room and bedding were very comfortable and it's in a great location. On the negative side, my husband really missed having a coffee pot in the room. Also the refrigerator was a joke. We were warned at check-in not to move anything inside or be charged. At one point we bought a delicious fruit tray but couldn't refrigerate it because there was no room without moving items. My husband got the trip paid for so I'm going to overlook the negatives. All in all a nice time ' but they should just remove the refrigerator as it causes such frustration. If they have to charge more for the room, just do it.
When I arrived my room wasn’t ready so they offered me a room with pool view at an extra $20 a night. I accepted thinking it might be nice, but when I made my way to the room and looked for the pool it was sooo far away that I could barely see anything except acres of the casino roof and then a tiny little glimpse of the pool. Totally not worth the pool view charge. Then the cloths iron ruined a brand new shirt when a bunch of rusty water came out of it and stained the shirt… ugh. But it wasn’t all bad. The room itself was nice and I liked the more modern take on the interior design. I did appreciate the in-room safe and USB phone charging stations. The exercise room was sufficient. The salon services were very nice, my wife really appreciated the gal who did her pedicure. I really like the location of this hotel on the strip with lots to do inside the property as well as the neighboring casinos and restaurants. It was a nice stay with a rough start.
