The Quad Resort & Casino
- What's Included
Be aware that if you have a car you most likely will be charged a parking fee on top of a resort fees. Both fees are ridiculous and are only justified by "all hotels are doing it". It still doesn't make it right. They only serves as other ways to bleed more money from guests.
Stayed at The Linq for 5 nights in May 2017. Had a regular room, it was very nice and updated. Check in and out was very easy with there self check in kiosk. I never had to talk to front desk the entire time. The bell desk was very nice and helpful with checking my bags the last day i was there. Always lots going on in hotel and loved staying center strip for a reasonable price. Would definitely stay again!
The Linq is very easy to move around. You don't get lost in the casino like so many others. Dealers are friendly. Table limits are very reasonable and, when you win like I did, it's that much more fun
The Linq is an attractive place, and the rooms are comfortable and modern. But that is where positive things end. Be careful of the craps tables...the management does NOTHING to keep the playing field fair, going so far as introducing distraction because the dealers seem incapable of following betting instructions...meaning frustrated players are constantly correcting things, which delays the game and throws off throwers. Its an unfair environment endorsed by table games management - because time and time again, they refuse to step in and get things right.
We booked this hotel a week prior arriving to Las Vegas after initially booking the Excalibar. This hotel was £30 more expensive, however The Linq package also offered breakfast which included a $9 credit per person to spend in the Nook cafe. Therefore, this hotel was better value for money and we were so glad we had changed due to the quality of the rooms and the location. The room we were given was on the 10th floor which offered looked the Harrahs' hotel swimming pool. Although, this was a view of the strip it was still pleasant and most importantly it was quiet. The room was really nice with two queen beds, good channel selection and a great bathroom. Hotel and room were cleaned and maintained throughout our stay. We visited Has House A Go Go for our first night at the hotel and enjoyed the food. The casino is great and also does not have a strong smell of smoke or air fresher which you will experience in other hotel casinos. We enjoyed the pool on a few occasions and had a great time. The pool has a over 21 policy and you will be ID before you are allowed in the pool area. They do play loud music at the pool but I had no problem drowning this out with my own headphones. I did not see a price list at the pool but we ordered a beer and a pina-colada and the bill was $22. However, these prices appear to be the norm in Vegas. The main advantage of this hotel was the location. Situated next to Harrahs' and across the road from Cesar's Place shopping Mall, it is a great place to take in all the strip has to offer. All major hotels and tourist attractions are within waling distance. However, it is difficult to determine how much time it takes to walk up and down the strip as you will make your way through many hotels to take in the various displays. Outside Harrahs' is a bus stop where you can catch the bus down to Fremont Street and on the opposite side of the road, the bus will take you up to the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign. Tickets for the bus have to be purchased from the machines located at the bus stop. We paid $8 per person for a 24 hour pass. If we were to return to Vegas, I definitely would be seeking to book this hotel again.
