Venetian Resort Hotel Casino
- What's Included
Like most places in Vegas, this hotel is huge. They said about 7,000 rooms and you definitely feel it. Navigating the elevators and hallways can take some getting used to but after a couple of days you finally get a handle on it. Might not be ideal for families that have elderly people with them. That being said, the Uber drop off location is pretty convenient at the back of the hotel and the strip is obviously right there. The room we had was a double bed suite and it was amazing. It was spacious with a step-down sitting area and a very large bathroom. The toilet had its own door so that was nice as well. Everything was clean and comfortable and the beds were extremely comfortable. Definitely plan on it taking a few minutes to get to everything. We did go down to the pool area near Tao Pool which was loud and packed full of people. Our room overlooked what seemed like a quieter pool but again, packed with people. The hotel is gorgeous and offers something for everybody from shopping to gambling to eating.
What a fantastic hotel.I also booked a helicopter fight to the Grand Canyon with a picnic with Sundance. On our return I went to purchase the photograph taken before the outbound flight. The cashier recognising the fact that it was my birthday presented me with a bottle of champagne and gifted the photograph also.
$40 a day and NO coffee in room and no lounge chairs to enjoy the pool. Tell me again what the 'resort fee' covers ? $700 for a cabana and you can enjoy the pool. Unfortunate as the suites are nice and love being in site to enjoy the Canal sharps and St Marks Square. So beutiful but think I'll visit and stay somewhere I can enjoy the pool... and coffe in the morning
Wow what a hotel, beautiful rooms (absolutely huge) cleaners continually maintain the property and ensuring it's spotless, friendly staff and a great location. Really loved TAO nightclub and the vast range of food and restraints available
I was staying with 17 guys for a bachelor party weekend. The first night we were drinking at the dorcey (their casino bar) and the groom accidentally knocked over a small table which had a glass top that slid off and broke. Why they don't have plexiglass I can't fathom. The large black bouncer with braids said we had to go and we did. 5 minutes later, near the elevators, he grabs the groom by the neck and aggressively walks/drags/chokes him back to the bar. Three security guards (Erick, Sanja, and David) and a manager (Ryan) show up and have us wait for over an hour talking about property damage and getting an estimate. Despite giving them all of our IDs, room numbers, etc. they refuse to let us leave and start telling a different story about how they warned us multiple times (not true). I explain to them that we are spending thousands of dollars here every night and it was accidental but still they held all of us for over an hour, dressing us down in public, and forced us to pay $100 at the cage for a broken glass table top. This is honestly the worst management failure I've ever experienced. That is not how you properly handle minor incidents. The next morning I went downstairs and spoke with Mary at the front desk about our poor experience and treatment the previous night and I got the feeling that she really couldn't care less. It seems like despite this being a 5 star hotel there is not one person I've met who actually cares about the guest experience. It doesn't matter how nice the hotel is if the hospitality is lacking and I believe it's non-existent here. I won't be staying at the Venetian next time.
