Il Divo singers were great especially how they blend their voices. They also are great showmen integrating a lucky guest into the show and changing up their staging with a great orchestra, piano, and guitar playing. My only issue is that part of the lighting activity periodically shines different color spot lights into the audience temporarily interrupting your ability to see the show. Please keep the lights on the stage and ceiling of the theater.
We have stayed in the Venetian for 9 nights during our 3rd trip to Las Vegas and it was absolutely magnificent! The hotel is gigantic and has so many rooms and floors and sides and corners and things to discover but I love that. If you don't like majestic buildings, this is not for you but I would assume you would also not come to Vegas then :). The check-in was very good, we had Manuel assisting us and he made every effort to make sure all was ok for us and he made us feel special and very very welcome. The hotel grounds very nice and luxurious, spotlessly clean, constantly we saw people cleaning and dusting and doing the floors and if you see the result, it's all worth it. Our room was fabulous, very nice view over the strip partially, the pools and the mountains so just like we wanted. The hotel has many restaurants and take-away food areas so we took advantage of that a lot. 1 time we were disappointed, that was with the pizza corner at the food court at the hotel itself, very unprofessional staff, rude cashier and the food itself greasy, but that did not spoil our fun. The rooms very spacious, clean, well decorated, enough cupboards, nice big bathroom. We felt welcome, very safe (there was a guard at the entrance of the elevators checking the guest's badges before entering, very good this happens!!!!), we had fun in all we did and the hotel and surroundings and experience we had added up to the fact that I give this a 5 star rating. We will be back, no doubt about it!
First time in Vegas and we were spoiled. Beautiful hotel. It is massive and took us a few days to get our bearings (lol). The only downside is that it is connected to the Sands Conference Centre and checking in took us over 45 mins as it just happend that there were two conferences taking place at the same time we were there.
The Venetian is a beautiful hotel. It's huge and massive, trying to locate our tower was like a fun activity for my childhood friend and I, we had to look out for the signs that led to our Tower. It was fun doing that, it made us feel like kids again.
Me and my girlfriend went to Venetian in the first half of September and I have to say we loved the way the hotel and resort looked and felt. But before the well-deserved compliments we would like to express the concerns that we had.(1) Pool towel system. The hotel provides guests with complimentary (well, not so complimentary considering $40 daily mandatory resort fee which is on top of your expenses) towels. They give these towels to everyone as long as you are guest, and you can take as many as you like. As a result people book the best places near the pools and hot tubs in the morning with these towels, but do not show up until later on, or at all! And then, when hotel is full, it is hard to find good spots despite many unoccupied loungers with said towels. (2) Aggressive sales. We were surprised and kind of disappointed that the canal shops, albeit looking gorgeous, had really aggressive sales people for some of the stores. An no point could we just stroll without being harassed, and I mean harassed, by all sorts of vendors. Even though anyone can access this shopping center, it is not something you would expected from 5+ star hotel (3) … and finally. Coffee machine. There is no coffee machine in the room, you can either order coffee, and it is fairly expensive, or go downstairs to one of many coffee shops to purchase it. In either case we found that to be of inconvenience for us. There, I got it out of the way. Otherwise, gorgeous and clean hotel. Upscale suites, do get a view suite, it is worth it. Casino is good, with lots of available games. Everything is expensive, but so is Vegas. There is Walgreens convenience store in the hotel complex where you can get relatively inexpensive alcohol & snacks. Amazing restaurants in the canal shops area. Definitely recommend their Gran Lux buffet for breakfast, affordable and delicious. Easy check-in and check-out system. Designated Uber drop off/ pick up area. Do not use taxis, they are expensive and beaten up. Would definitely return provided an opportunity.
