Venetian Resort Hotel Casino
- What's Included
I really enjoyed the spacious room! We traveled with our family and we loved the extra room and the two TVs. The only downfall was there was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. I DO NOT enjoy standing in line for 20+ mins. just to get a cup of coffee.
Really enjoyed visiting this hotel. I did not stay there but wish I had as the whole representation was beautiful even down to the singing gondoliers. You can wander the little streets which gives you the feeling of being in Venice itself.
I can't get too negative here, because the room was terrific other than 1 problem: getting dropped from wifi every few minutes. But it is amazing how ongoing problems with wifi can ruin your day. When we inquired with the front desk, they advised that their IT department might be able to help, but we would need to stay in our room until they could respond. Really, are we going to "waste" a day in Vegas for this, so we bit our tongue and moved on. Other than that, I was impressed with the room: it's size and furnishings were far above average. The step-down sitting area was a nice feature, as well as separate TV's in the sitting area and bedroom. The bed, often a source of issues at other hotels, was terrific. The room was quite clean when we arrived, and the daily cleaning was notably good. We used the workout facility, and it was very nicely furnished: plenty of machines, no waiting, classes offered, a helpful and friendly staff, and even a rock climbing wall. If only they could solve the wifi....
Typically we stay at lower priced properties along the strip. We have always enjoyed walking through the Venetian/Palazzo so we figured we would give it a try to celebrate a birthday. We had a couple of different offers - birthday, 3rd night free - but it was a little confusing which offer worked out the best. I believe the 3rd night ended up being the best one, but I'm still not sure which one we ended up using. The suite is really nice, but it was more than we needed. You have an area that is the typical size of a hotel room, but there is a living area adjacent (as seen in the pictures). Since it was only two of us, the living area ended up being wasted space. We were at the lower end of the room pricing, so could wake up each morning to look out at roof tops. There is a mini-bar in the room, but no refrigerator available for you to use.Compared to the other hotels we have stayed at, it was much quieter in the hotel section which was very nice. I must say I almost waxed nostalgic about hearing bachelorette parties rolling in at 4am stumbling down the hallways. Overall it's a great property to visit, but if you don't plan on spending too much time in the room the return for your dollar may not be there.
Our second visit to Vegas, this time we were with our son and daughter in law to celebrate his 40th birthday and their first visit to Vegas. We stayed in this wonderful hotel and from start to finish it has been an amazing experience. I requested a complimentary room upgrade with a view just on the off chance that we would get one and Kylie who is in charge of celebrations came up trumps!! I would like to say that every member of staff in the whole aspect of the hotel were amazing especially the cleaners who were something else our rooms were stunning and the attention to detail was first class. A must stay place in Vegas.
