Our Opinion
A true feel of Venice! The Parlour Suites are well decorated, spacious and come fully equipped with everything from the stocked mini-bar to the multi-function fax machine. The Canyon Ranch Spa was named 'The Best Spa in the World' Magazine by Conde Nast Traveler. Like the Bellagio, the price is a little higher but you will definitely see and feel the difference. Very highly recommended.

Overview
The Venetian redefines luxury with the world's largest standard suites - nearly double the size of the average Strip hotel room. Hosting 17 award-winning restaurants & chefs including the famous Emeril Lagasse's restaurant, Delmonico Steakhouse. Embrace romance and elegance, sit back and relax on the outdoor & indoor Venetian gondola rides. Set on 63 acres on the Las Vegas Strip, a stay at this breathtaking mega-resort is definitely a taste 'la dolce vita'.

Location: Centrally located on the Strip, across from the Mirage and Treasure Island.

Just a name, Venetian - No Hospitality

We are 4 Couples and we are booked for 5 nights and currently staying at The Venetian while i write this review and let me tell you we have been pretty excited about this trip since the time we booked i.e. May 2017Since our vacation last year to Macao at Venetian we have been planning to stay here but it turns out that its just a big name with big price tags and no hospitality. We have booked there Luxury Suite through expedia and while booking we clearly remember and also our voucher says the same : FREE BREAKFAST for 2, which apparently at the hotel voucher says Grab n Go Breakfast which is so pathetic just a pouch of baked foods and a small cup of fruit and and tea/coffee.It seems it was my mistake that after paying almost 200 USD per night i couldnt even expect a nice breakfast spread.Forget breakfast the hotel doesnt even provide a kettle or tea/coffee maker in room which even the smallest of roadside hotels provide and you can get the same but you have to shell out 8 USD per day for the kettle and seperate charges for tea/coffee sachets.Should i be even mentioning about not having a single bottle of water complimentary ?We have never experienced such kind of hospitality and have certainly not expected this from a hotel like Venetian.Morning Tea and Breakfast is the basic necessity for me atleast and without it it ruins our entire stay.Unfortunately we booked the same hotel for 5 nights and we feel badly stuck

Enormous

Luxurious resort, but it's sheer size is a drawback. Lots of restaurants and shops available to choose from, which provides for many diversions during the day. Large casino. The spa is lavish and exhilarating.

always a pleasure

favorite hotel always! comfortable bed! nice bathroom...but wish there was a coffee maker in the room and I know they see a lot of people, but wish the staff was just a little friendlier at check in and check out.

Fun "weekend" in Vegas

Friendly hotel employees. We made it to the hotel three hours before check-in and they were given complimentary early check-in and were in our room in a jiffy. This was a plus because we had taken a 6 am flight and needed a nap before we went to a show that evening. We were offered an upgrade for a better view, but declined and we didn't regret it at all. From our window you could see the roof and the 10th floor pool, but also a bit of the strip. It was fine for our purposes and I liked that I could look down at the pool and see if it was packed before heading down. One downside that I must mention about our room was that we were placed in an adjoining room to a family traveling with small children. Normally this would not have been a problem at all, but we stayed out pretty late our first night and were awoke the next morning at 8 am as you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room next door! I literally thought that the kids were playing in the hallway, but they were in their room. I did not complain, they were just being kids, but know that there is not a lot of noise canceling between the adjoining rooms! We are not gamblers, but we used the gym, spa and went to restaurants and shops in the hotel. There is literally so much to do and see! My husband even had the soles of his feet analyzed in the gym and purchased some new shoes as his feet was killing him from so much walking. I went to the sunrise yoga class by the pool and it was very beneficial and challenging. The instructors brought mats, towels and water for us. I'm not used to be taken care of so well! At the spa I had a massage and took advantage of all of the relaxing rooms. I loved the wave room and salt grotto and my massage was excellent! While at the hotel we ate a Grimaldi's (great pizza and affordable!), got pastries at Buddy's (expensive but you gotta do it once!), went to Bouchon for breakfast (excellent) and even got some Chipotle when we were wanting a familiar and quick meal. There are almost too many choices and none were disappointing. Checkout was a breeze via email and housekeeping and the operator were attentive to all of our needs and requests....great stay!
