Beautiful Ocean View Property

The St. Regis is a beautiful mix between Hawaii charm and modern design. The staff was extremely welcoming and profesional and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. They had good email contract prior to our arrival to ensure that any needs were met and addressed prior to our stay. You definitely want to rent a car on the island and the hotel has easy and fast valet parking. The rooms are a decent size and beds were extremely comfortable. 24 hour room service was available and convenient because many of the restaurant were closed by 9/10pm. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful view!

Mu husband and I stayed at the St. Regis Princeville for the second half of our honeymoon and it was definitely the best part of the trip! We had a little trouble with the A/C in our room when we first got there. They tried to fix it, but it was not working. They eventually moved us to another room (no upgrade, but we got free breakfast for our stay, which was very nice!). My only complaints are it is a little dated (mainly the bathroom covered in green marble) and not every room has a balcony/patio. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The pool is great, as well as the service at the pool bar! We ate breakfast every morning at the buffet and it was delicious. We had dinner at Makana Terrace on our last night and the service could have been a lot better. We hardly ever saw our waitress and it took forever to get our food. We ordered wedge salads, which weren't that great, I had one of their soups, which was ok, and a side of rice, which was bland. My husband ordered crab cakes after his salad and they were so small, he was still hungry afterwards. And they were not cheap either. The view from this restaurant is amazing, I will say! Other than that, we explored the island for our meals and activities. We enjoyed the St. Regis Bar and they do a sabering of a champagne bottle nightly, which is fun!

Spectacular resort

Awesome hotel. The valet staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and good size. The kids loved the pool area and proximity to the ocean. Julia from Pacific Dream Photography did a fantastic job with our family photos and is highly recommended.

Disappointed

It is a spectacular hotel at a very wonderful location although it is datedWe stay for 3 nights with a little disappointment When we go to the buffet breakfast the first morning, we see ladies were offered flower on the hair, when it is our turn, my wife was not offered the flower, we were taken to the table and that's it, and the couple behind us was with flower. The same thing happened on the second morning, we were very puzzled. On the second night we went to Kauai grill , we had reservation and we were in queue, the receptionist took care guests behind us in queue and keep us waiting, is there a class of citizen in st Regis hotel? The staff definitely needs more training, we spent tremendous amount of money and we need fair treatment

Great Hotel worthy of Hanalei Bay

There may be no more beautiful view on earth, and the St. Regis Princeville has the best location. They aim for the highest quality of everything, and reach it for the most part in every way. Try to get upgraded (or splurge) for a room with a view, and any room at any height on the bay side will do nicely. The beach is quite nice and the pool is very nice.Restaurants have enough variety to keep you on campus for several days. If you have a car, note that driving on the north side of the island is easy, but going anywhere south of the Lihue airport and west of there is bound to hit very heavy traffic. Having the car in just the northern part is worth it, though, so you can drive towards the Na Pali coast and the beaches, as well as explore Hanalei and its shopping and art galleries.
