Awful

We waited about 90 minutes just to check in! Had time to take rental car back and take taxi back to hotel to join my wife in line for another 30 minutes! We booked a corner suite! It was awful! Room was located on ground floor adjacent to a patio with no view! Must of been a kitchen above us as we heard loud noise until midnight!

Convenient location - Sort of

I needed to overnight at LAX and chose the Hilton as it had a free shuttle from the airport. As it happens lots of hotels have free shuttles but the Hilton advertise this whereas it wasn't obvious with others. It was very easy. The shuttle runs very regularly. Check in was very unfriendly - staff seeemed like robots. I was unimpressed to be told the wi-fi code was "in the room" only to find it wasn't and I had to call reception to get it. There is nothing anywhere near the hotel except Carl's Junior so expect to eat/drink there. As expected, it was expensive. However there was a good selection of wine and everything can be taken to your room. I ordered French fries which I found were cold. Service was excellent. They delivered more and this person was very courteous and friendly The only downside was very little sleep. There was a car in the parking lot outside my room whose alarm kept going off intermittently through the night and even though I was on the 11th floor I could hear this. I tried calling reception but they told me it wasn't their parking lot so nothing could be done. Very disturbed sleep

Know what to expect - train station-style hotel at the Airport

Very efficient check-in; the hotel gave me a super-early checkin at no extra cost. Supports all the features of the Hilton app incl. digital key (very convenient). The Executive Lounge was honestly a big disappointment - nearly no food (5 or 6 cookies), some bottled water and a few warm cans of Coke.What I mean by train station-style: this hotel of course is very very busy - the lobby is full of tourists, airline crews etc. etc. This gives it a very international style (which I liked) but don't compare it to a newly-built Hilton somewhere else: it is a convenient place close to an international airport with an unbeatable shuttle service (frequent, 5 to 10 minutes to LAX terminals at least on a Sunday morning). The room was clean and well-equipped; bathroom was ok but needs refurbishment.I give it 4 out of 5 due to location and overall convenience.

Below Expectations!!

$300 for a room in the middle of the week and no 'fridge, no microwave - and then they have the nerve to ask $12 for the internet??? Internet connection sucked! VERY VERY slow!! The room has no vent in the bath room so no white noise!! Ugh! I DO NOT recommend this hotel!!

Great visit

The hotel is very beautiful, lobby was awesome. Staff was helpful, the accommodation were very nice. Room very clean, bed comfortable. I was able to check in early which was helpful. I will book this hotel again
