Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel
- What's Included
The service is not a 4 star service. In addition to paying $250 - You have to pay to have a refrigerator in your room - Customer service is slow and terrible. We found hair in the bath towels and the internet is horrible. - This hotel is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. Will choose another hotel in close proximity to the airport.
I rarely travel alone but felt very comfortable here. I don't think the hotel was very busy. No line at check in. Room was beautifully done and clean. Linens were nice, bed comfortable. Room temperature readily adjusted. All the staff I came in contact were professional and friendly and asked if I needed help when I looked lost. Airport shuttle in the morning (5:30) was waiting and not full. Efficient. The only step I stressed about was returning my Alamo car the evening I arrived and having to ride the shuttle to the airport then the hotel bus back. Turns out Alamo had a courtesy shuttle that took me straight to the hotel!
I Love this hotel. In total I've probably spent 4+ months of room night @ the Property. It has by far the best Hamburger in the United States. It is an absolute delight to stay at the Hilton LAX because it is an absolutely delightful hotel to stay it! UNFORTUNATLEY, The Hilton LAX has failed me in the most benign manner possible, and I will never cross past the threshold of the Hotel again. My last stay was a quick overnight. My plane landed at 1:15AM, I was at the property by 1:30AM. I hd club access---but it was meaningless for such a short stay. The following morning I awoke showered, pick up a Banana at the Club---it was a Sunday AM---went to the lobby and requested transportation to Hertz Rental Car Lot. I was in a rush. Buy Google Maps calculus, I was asked for a .9 mile lift in order to rent my car. I was told to visit the Hilton LAX Hertz counter. I explained that my reservation was not with the Counter at the property and they already indicated I needed to go to the Hertz lot. When I returned to the Bell/Valet staff and asked for .9 mile quick hop & I would "tip". I was flat out rejected, and told it was an impossibility. Impossibility???? To drive me .9 miles to Hertz? The Driver had plenty of time between his airport terminal runs. My request was simply denied outright by everybody. Ultimately, they started to talk, yet this was 10 mins into initial engagement. I walked away, hoped a cab, apologized to the Driver for the .9 mile trip. He took me, I paid him $8 and he was exceptionally gracious. Unfortunately if such a benign request is going to met was such an aggressive NO...The Hilton LAX "ain't" where I will every stay again. Very unfortunate...I adored the hotel, and have written possible comments in the past, but now I will never enter nor stay at the Hilton LAX again. Do they deserve one more chance? Absolutely not in consideration of the time and money I've spent at the Hilton LAX. Clearly, the hotels guest engagement---especially priority level guests sucks, and nobody will go even slightly beyond what their job description details. .9 miles!!! I hope it was worth it saving that on the odometer 'cause I'm gone from this Hotel. Sheraton-Westin-Marriott-or the new Hyatt for me!!!
Really good experience in Hilton LAX. I would say it is really convenient to Santa Monica, Long Beach etc. Room is clean and quiet. However, the Parking is a little bit expansive. There are several garages around is a little bit cheaper.
It's proximity to LAX makes it highly convenient for business trips in LA. The gym is significantly larger than most hotels I've stayed at in LA - which I love. If only there was a REAL Starbucks at the lobby for REAL coffee... thank God there is one in the hotel right next to the Hilton.
