Sleep and fly

Over priced!!!! I asked for another blanket and they NEVER brought one up. A little confusing parking. We were never given a scan bar on our reservation so we did an 1 hr and we are told that will work for when we come back to get our car out. Will stay at Sheraton four seasons when we go to Maui in Sept.

AWFUL ex lounge experience/no love shown as a diamond

Stayed here recently for one night. I had an early morning flight out of LAX (which got delayed) and came here late afternoon after I was done with my business in LA.The only real positive things i have to say about this hotel is that the location is convenient to LAX with frequent shuttle service and the wifi is decent. No suite upgrade as a diamond even though suites were available to book online. I was told I was upgraded to an exec room but it was on another floor than the lounge and didn't seem like much of an upgrade to me but Hilton in general is stingy with upgrades compared to Hyatts for their diamonds. The Ex Lounge is one of the worst lounges I have experienced at a Hilton.A lot of this could be prevented by not giving all gold's access. Hilton freely hands out gold and seeing Lounge access isn't a benefit to golds (unless they are on the exec level) they shouldn't be giving them access since the lounge is barely big enough to accommodate diamonds and those on the exec level that should have access. The lounge is only open for breakfast and happy hour and closed other hours which stinks if you want a soda or bottled water during the day and I arrived before the lounge opened for happy hour and really was craving a diet coke. I get there about ten minutes after the lounge opened with my laptop and was going to enjoy a lite snack and diet coke or glass of wine while I did some work and it's already pouring over with people and no place to sit. Most of the food had already been eaten up and not replaced (seems to be a common complaint on the Flyertalk thread about this property).I got an early morning text my flight was delayed until 11 so I made the mistake of going back to the lounge for breakfast and same problem. Way too many people for it's size and only a few items remained which didn't look appetizing.I've experienced lounge overcrowding at only two other Hiltons (the one was also giving out access to all gold's and after a lot of complaints they finally restricted access) and both times there was no issue getting a voucher for the restaurant instead . I asked for a voucher this time seeing lounge access/breakfast is a diamond benefit and there was no room to sit in the lounge and was declined. If they would have given me a breakfast voucher I would have probably overlooked the other issues and given this property a four. I just checked out and went to the airport early and enjoyed breakfast at the airline lounge (pretty sad when a domestic airline lounge has a better breakfast and is more peaceful than at a hotel).I would return here for the right price if I had an early morning flight again but ONLY if they do something about the lounge. Either stop giving gold's lounge access or give diamonds a full breakfast option!

Disappointed.

I still have the idea that Hilton is supposed to be kind of nice but maybe that's not the case anymore. The lobby is nice but the corridors and room were dingy and small and dark and really needed refreshing. Not nice at all. Desperate need of refurbishing but also just very small. I'd not stay here again unless we booked a suite and got a better deal.

Usefull

This hotel is a pratical and usefull option for people that have to stay in Los Angeles for a little time, and need rest between two flights. It is is very near the airport. It offer a free shuttle dedicated to the guests. The hotel and the room are nice and the staff service is very good. On the other hand, the breackfast point should be organized better and the Jacuzzi was very hot.Overall, services are good but not so particoular, setted for an hotel that has a continuous changement of guests. In my opionions to stay no more than 2 nights.

Quick Stay

Loved the app where you can check in and go straight to your room. The digital key is awesome. This was a one night stay to get my daughter to the airport. Check in and check out was very easy to do. Room was very clean. The bar had good food, but service was horrible. Also, the airport shuttle was convenient, but the driver was rude and clueless.
