Location: 10 to 20 minutes away from downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and the San Fernando Valley. The J. Paul Getty Center, UCLA campus and the Skirball Cultural Center are 5 minutes away.

Good hotel

I was here for 7 nights. The staff was nice. Complimentary Wifi up to 4Mbps. Fast check in/out. Rooms are small. All the towels are not clean. I saw some black spots on towels several times. Hotel doesn't provide slippers. Room service is good not great. Highway sound bothered me a little. Overall OK.

Great service and convenient.

Located right by the 405, it was easy to get everywhere. Loved the West Restaurant and the whole hotel has a "skip the tip" policy as they compensate their employees well!! I'd stay here again, our room was lovely!

Rooms modern clean, food great, staff great, could not be happier all round. Wine tasting hr was provided free and it was good to mingle with other guests. The freeway noise was not noticeable unless you opened your balcony but even at that I liked the air and kept it open during the night.

Excellent Experience on Return Visit to Hotel Angelino

I returned again to Hotel Angelino on a business trip to Los Angeles and had another excellent experience! Customer service was great and I really enjoyed all the hotel renovations made since my last visit. Free Valet parking was an added bonus. This will be my 'go-to' Hotel when visiting Los Angeles!

Lovely room, very spotty service and unclear about amenities

First of all, this hotel is beautiful, from the lobby to the rooms. My bed was comfortable and I had no problem with any of the traffic noise people have mentioned - I couldn't hear anything. I slept very well. Rooms are on the small side but well-appointed.However, the service appeared spotty because of understaffing. The front desk generally had only one (very nice) person, and when I had to call someone from my room, nobody answered after repeated calls, and so I travelled down to the lobby to talk to someone in person (the elevators here are also very slow). But the biggest issue I had was the unclear amenities. Room service apparently ends at 10pm - which would be totally fine had the menu in the rooms said so. The room menus say that dinner ended at 10pm, and there was another menu called the "Overnight" menu, with a short list of options. So, upon return from a work event at 10:15pm, I had not eaten dinner and was told by the front desk that there were no food options except for sandwiches/salads in a freezer case (not good for people with food issues) and appetizers in the bar. This isn't an area where you can walk anywhere or easily drive and park, and most places I researched were closed, so I ordered greasy takeout from a pizza place who delivered to the hotel at 11pm at night. The hotel has to be more clear about this, and they have to answer the phone when guests are calling. I understand being understaffed, but it was really not helpful - I didn't feel like I would get any help if I needed to call for something more important.The valet service was the best - fastest and nicest team. I appreciated them very much.
