Kaanapali Beach Hotel
- What's Included
I made reservations last summer and then read Tripadvisor reviews for almost 10 months. In retrospect, people seem to love this hotel or not. However, our six family members truly enjoyed their stay at KBH! It was like visiting a long ago neighbor who opened their rooms, their backyard, their hearts with warm hospitality. From the wonderful woman, Beverly, who helped with our reservations to the young woman at the Front Desk, Lisa, who checked us in ..and out...we were treated with professional courtesy and genuine kindness. We were more than pleased with the Garden View in the Maui wing. The hot & cold breakfast buffet was diverse and adequate. We appreciated having the tub/shower/toilet in a separate room from the sink area. There was always plenty of hot water and water pressure. The balcony chairs and little table were enjoyed each night because of the outside live entertainment near our room. It seemed to always end too soon...about 9pm. All of us enjoyed the grassy area that leads to the beach. There was never a problem finding a chair to move if one wanted shade. For the hours on the beach, the hotel has a hut on the beach for rental of chairs/umbrellas/scuba/board equipment plus more. Also, don't miss the wonderful little Gift shop or Deli's sundries. We hope to return to the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel!
Got told this was a 3 star hotel but they LIED, in my opinion it's much higher, every thing is so immaculate, the staff can not do enough for you, the food is wonderful, ladies location perfect all in all I can't say enough about this hotel, no wonder people keep returning again and again, thank you
This is a great, traditional Hawaiian hotel. It is not the most modern (the rooms could use a little pick-me-up), but the staff, beach and culture is terrific!Smaller pool, but offers a great section of beach. They have complimentary lessons in Hawaiian culture such as hula and ukulele lessons. Rooms are spacious and great size for families. The farewell kukui nut ceremony is a lovely touch.
Just got back from staying here for 4 days and all I can say is how absouley amazing this hotel is they really do treat you like family and the hotel may be older but it's still a beautiful hotel I loved our room as it had a ocean view and a view of the amazing courtyard this hotel is a great hotel to stay in and they have so much to do on the property. I loved that it was so close to the beach and all the other great properties on kaanapali beach if I ever find myself in maui again I will be staying here again because they are now my ohana
omg my husband likes to pick our spots to stay cause he loves doing the research for wherever we are going, it gets him excited for the trip our sons wedding, two years in the planning was reason enough. but of course I agreed after we rented a family home on maui to move here for the last few days unbelievable choice advertises true old Hawaii or true Hawaii exper and it is you don't even have to leave the property we upgraded and got a beach front room which was great on the bottom floor he wants to try beach front on third floor next time and yes we are motivated with saving so we can get back I now get why people decorate their homes and yards this way now
