We rented a two bedroom bay villa overlooking the golf course. It was beautiful. The rooms are all updated and everything you need is here. We made breakfast and lunch at the villa and went out to eat at night most days. Perfect location quiet and you could watch the whales jump all day long.
This villa was very spacious and has great ocean views. Each morning we sat on our Lanai eating breakfast and watching the whales! The villas were private and parking was close. Definitely would stay here again!
We stayed at the Kapalua Ridge Villas for the first time after many years coming to Maui. It was a spacious upper level 2 story, 2200 sq. ft. villa with a large lanai and 3 bathrooms that provided great panoramic views from both levels. It also had a wonderful kitchen with plenty of storage space. Wow! What a great place to stay! The Front Office Supervisor, Romel Lizada and Melissa at the front desk were both very personable. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
My family and I booked an Oceanfront Gold Villa (1 bedroom). We booked it through a 3rd party (Costco) and therefore were unable to select the actual unit. When we checked into the resort, the employee was very helpful and answered all my questions. We stayed in 22G5. It truly was "oceanfront" as there was nothing in between us and the water. There is a daily fee (~$27) and a one time check-out cleaning fee (~$125). You will pay these upon check-in. These fees should not surprise you, if you did your research. This was a beautiful condo. It was fully stocked with everything but food (it did have bath/dish soap, shampoo, towels, etc.). There was a blender (a MUST for making pineapple smoothies) and even a rice cooker. The bed was comfortable and clean. The pull out bed (couch) was a little tired, but the kids (7 and 13) managed just fine. I imagine that it would be unfit for 2 adults. While the condo did not have a barbecue, the pool area (pool B) had two nice Weber gas grills, just a short 1 minute walk away. There was high speed Wi-Fi in the unit and cable/satellite TV (although we didn't watch it).The Bay Villas are located near the walking path which follows the coastline. Since you are situated above the path, you really don't see people walking it (not that crowded anyhow). The beauty of it is, you are a 2 minute walk to Oneloa Beach. It's beautiful with soft sand and NEVER crowded. A true gem of a beach! The whole area is beautifully maintained and quiet. "Maui Midnight" seems to be around 7pm and you could hear nothing but the ocean and whales after that time.
I stayed in the Bay Villas, 29B4. I want to say first that it had a wonderful view, the condo was spacious with the kitchen being a little small. You pay a fee to clean this condo so it should be spotless. It had mold on window coverings, mold behind the sinks in the bathroom, the ceiling fans were filthy. They looked like they have never been cleaned since there installation. The Kitchen window was broken and it doesn't have a fan so there was no ventilation when cooking. After a windy night I Thought the window was going to blow in. All in all I would stay at the Bay condos again, the view is breathtaking and the beaches were terrific. I think the manager should view these properties once in a while because most of these problems are easy fixes. the cleaning crew needs a talking to.
