- What's Included
We booked Maui Kamaole through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. She was super helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our trip went off without a hitch. Very helpful! Our first trip to Maui. Very close to the great beaches and walking distance to everything we needed. The resort was was scenic and very clean. Great pools and BBQ's everywhere. Stayed in the B (B112 I believe) area bottom floor. Very close to pool. All beach gear for the kids was included AWESOME!! Only issue was being there for 10 days and only dish soap/dishwasher pucks provided for cleaning. Only downfall was NO cleaning supplies. Spoke with resort and said they couldn't provide even Windex due to legal/liability. Ran out of diswasher pucks but resort provided more. Picked up laundry soap and cleaning supplies ourselves. HIGHLY recommend the guys down the road *only on Sundays* that sell the most delicious bbq chicken I have ever tasted!!!! Would definitely return to Maui Kamaole and definitely call on Donna again to book our family trip.
We had a 1 bedroom condo unit here and I was fairly surprised at how nice our unit was. I have stayed at other properties where the unit was outdated or wasn't kept up and needed a lot of work done to improve the unit. At Maui Kamaole though the units were quite nice. Very spacious room and even though we were there for only two days, a couple could easily make themselves very comfortable here. Our unit even had a nice welcome package of coffee and cookies waiting for us, which was a nice touch. The view from our ground level lanai was awesome, great ocean view and fantastic sunsets. It is located on a hill which may make it a little tougher for those with limited mobility. The location is pretty good, about a 5 minute walk to two beaches and close to both the shopping in Wailea and restaurants in Kihei. While not a big concern, I would have to say the unit we had the air conditioning unit definitely looked like it had better days, considering the amount of noise it made at night. But for me that's no biggie, I did have a look at the 2 bedroom units with some friends travelling with us and they too were very spacious, great for larger families. Whether your travelling as a couple or a family, I would highly recommend this property in a heartbeat and would be happy to stay here again!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. The room was very clean and comfortable with a full sized kitchen. The furniture was older looking and could use updating but overall decent. It was quite a long walk to shops and restaurants but easy if you have a car. The pool is quite small but it is across the street from the beach.
Short walk down the hill or easy parking at great beaches.Turtles rest on the shore near the boat ramp directly across the road. Condo 101 D is very spacious with ensuite with double-sinks and tub. Main bath has a shower. The living room has a convertible couch and plenty of room for airbeds. The well-equipped kitchen with owner's recipe book will inspire you. BBQs are close. Pools are lovely, and the yard in front with privacy hedge for birds stays cool all morning. Such a relaxing place after spending time with family down the road.
Our first trip to Maui. What an amazing island. The Kamaole condo's are a 5 min walk from Kihei's beaches. These are amazing, later in the day an occasional turttle may swim by. When the wind picks up you get a nice swell.Kihei is good place to do your daytrips. Going to the volcano or the highway to Hana are absolute must sees. Seeing the sun rise on the volcano is breathtaking but requires an earlyyy rise, certainly with teens. The condo's are great. These are privately owned so I guess they may differ one from the other. We took sea view, which added to the great Maui experience
