Relaxing oasis but so close to everything !

Great 2 bedroom unit, very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. comfy beds, and wonderful shower ! Loved the convenience of the washer and dryer, full size fridge and close proximity to front street. One negative was the noisy old aircondtioning. These could use updating. Too noisy to leave on at night, though they do have ceiling fans.Loved the pool area, and the grounds were so nicely maintained. I do feel that the parking is a bit steep at $17.50 a day. overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in two bedroom unit - four people. Ample room. Room, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Good for families. Quiet area with restaurants nearby. They do charge for parking $17.50 per night. (This was not disclosed at booking). Friendly staff. Were able to get room with four beds.

First time here, definitely not our last

The condo we stayed in was clean, in excellent condition and exceptionally well maintained. There are 2 swimming pools and the grounds are immaculate, with gardeners always working to maintain their beauty. Staying here was like being at home and did not have the feel of being in a hotel. With a well stocked kitchen we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast every morning. For lunch and dinner at times we ate in and at others times we ate out. Front St. is a leisurely 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants. The convenience of a washer and dryer in the condo was an added extra. The condo comes with beach chairs, umbrellas and a small cooler you can take to the beach. Needless to say we made great use of these items.A car is recommended if you want to explore Maui. Easy pick-up and return at the airport. If you can find parking on the street it is free. It is $20 per night to park on the condo grounds, a little less expensive to park in the lot across the street. Because of our circumstances, we opted to pay the $20 and park on the grounds. Even with no car, Front St. and many, many restaurants and shops are a short walk away.As recommended, by everyone we talked with, a stop at Costco and Walmart for provisions when you leave the airport is a must. Take your own bag into Walmart or you will be charged for a Walmart bag, as they do not provide free bags.Would we stay again? In a heartbeat! Looking forward to our next trip to Maui.

Loved this stay

We booked this without any previous knowledge of any Outrigger properties. We got in after midnight and found a pleasant security guard waiting for us so we could get into our room. We officially checked in the next day, staying in a one bedroom. We were very pleased with the kitchen and all it's appliances. The washer and drier worked well. I think the tv remotes needed new batteries, but we didn't even ask for more since we were so busy. The cleaning fee and the parking fee should be noted if you intend to stay here. We were not surprised or shocked. There is other parking around, but all for pay. To answer my questions for you, there are pots and pans, dishwashing detergent, trash can liners, bathroom towels, swimming pool towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex. This property is within walking distance of Front Street. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Value with Easy Access to Restaurants and Shopping

We stayed here with a party of four. I was apprehensive about not going with a hotel, but our group wanted to save on lodging for this trip. This selection turned out to be great. Everyone in my party was happy we didn’t pay more than twice for a small hotel room for 4. It was really nice to have two different bedrooms and especially nice to have two baths. This makes it a lot easier for 4 women to get showered and dressed quickly. The complex had two pools. I upgraded to a pool sized unit, and it was a right behind our unit’s family room exit to the pool area. The washer and dryer were perfect. Since this is a condo, there is no daily maid service. We washed our towels and clothing as frequently as needed. The washer/dryer made it easier to pack lighter than usual. We threw in a few extra supplies into our baggage, but didn’t need most of it because we only stayed for a week. The unit had more starter supplies than expected (great). Regarding comments that the ACs are loud, this is correct. However, they actually aren’t any louder than the units in a lot of hotel rooms. Also, I welcomed the AC noise. This is because noise from the walkways and other units really carry in these units. This is due to the classic beach home build. The windows are glass shutters floor to ceiling which means you can hear everything. One day I could hear a small child really clearly and it was annoying. Then, I realized I had not heard this before because our AC were typically on. The AC noise is your friend J. And yes, there were a few little ants crawling on the kitchen counter. It’s an island, so that’s what happens! You’ll find the same thing in the Caribbean and there is no way to completely get rid of theses. We found ant bait in the cabinets to eliminated the ants for the rest of our stay. The showers were large and titled. There are no bath tubs in this unit. There are no doors on the showers, so a little water gets on the floor, but having no door helped keep down humidity. The fridge was small, but sufficient. I don’t know why I forgot to take pics of it and the second bedroom. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen bed. There are beach chairs (old), a small cooler, clothes baskets, and a few other things available in the closet. Smaller beach towels are also available in the unit. So really, everything you need is there. Both pools were nice with nice barbeque equipment. The larger pool area has a cover sitting area that was really nice too. I totally forgot to get a good pic of it (darn!).All of our tour drivers knew exactly where the complex was located. We got drop off and pickup services just like the hotels. Big plus! The complex really was only a block and a half from Front Street and there were places to eat a few steps away on the corner. This place is a really good deal if you don’t have to wake up on the beach. We opted to drive to the beaches as desired. Our friends who stayed elsewhere had to pay to park in Front Street lots daily. We got to walk there for free. Pros:1.5 blocks from Front Street (which is the place to go in the Lahaina area)There are places to eat less than a block away. The outlet mall is near. The banyan tree is near. You can go for drinks without having to drive. The proximity to Front Street is perfect. There are two pools that were not congested. They have barbeque grills at the pool area. There is a covered outdoor lounge area near the large pool. There are individual AC units in the family and two bedrooms. There’s a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, 3 tvs, beach supplies, and large bath countertop in the bedroom with the king bed.The sofa looked clean and has a sofa bed. There are plenty of power outlets. This unit is steps away from one of the pools.Paid parking is convenient. Street parking was often available, but not all the time. This place is a huge saving over the hotels down the way and much roomier.Cons:We noticed that the family room AC unit wasn’t cooling properly. We waited a while to report it (having too much fun doing other things), and we learned that the compressor was going out. Luckily, most of my party is cold natured and used to Texas heat, so it didn’t bother us much as our bedroom ACs were on point. This complex does not have a beach view. It does have a decent mountain view from the grounds however.
