Outrigger Napili Shores
- What's Included
Napili Shores offers comfortable, fairly basic condo units, Our studio was in Block C and overlooked the lovely gardens and frangipani trees, with glimpses of the ocean from the lanai. We had a comfortable queen bed, bathroom with shower and storage, a specious lanai and a fairly basic kitchen area. The resort offers two pools, two restaurants (which we didn't try as we catered for ourselves), coin operated laundry facilities at very reasonable prices, a beach shop and beach access . Plenty of free parking. Ceiling fans - no air con and a rather odd lighting system. Napili is a lovely area surrounded by good beaches. There is a small shopping area with a supermarket and the shops at Kaanapali are a short drive away.
LOved LOved this condo, it was very clean spacious the staff were very friendly and the gardens were very tidy. The view from our room was awesome and right on the beach a 20 min drive back to the main town but shops close by
The grounds are spectacular. 2 pools, one heated, one not. They have lots of rules and regulations, and strictly enforce 10pm quiet time, including being on your lanai. We didn't have an issue because we had an oceanfront unit, but a garden view one could draw attention after 10pm. We did not receive any housekeeping for our 5 days, our unit was well stocked, but people need to be aware, especially if you rent through VRBO, or I trips. Would stay here again.
This is an older property but in a great location. Napili Beach is one of the nicer beaches in Maui as it is small, not crowded and generally a quiet surf. Napili Shores has numerous buildings, none over 2 stories. Each condo is different as the owners have decorated them to their own taste (usually Hawaiian). There are 2 pools, the Gazebo restaurant is next to the ocean front pool. This restaurant is very popular for breakfast and nice to have something so close to your room. It is a very quiet property with simple but nice landscaping. It sits at the opposite end of Napili Beach from Napili Kai Beach Club hotel (which is very expensive compared to NS). This hotel/condo is great for watching Whales, Dolphins and surfers, plus the Turtles are fun to watch right on the beach.I have stayed at numerous hotels in Maui but for a casual atmosphere in a wonderful location and fabulous price this is my favorite.
This will be our 18th trip to Napili Shores. We always stay in the ocean front I building. We sleep with the doors open for the breeze. We feel totally at home here. We do all the cooking at the condo. There is nothing better than cooking out on the grill with such lovely views. This location is away from the crowds. It is a great place to bring your family. This is the only place I find that I can totally relax. We never turn on the TV as that would block out the lovely sounds of the crashing waves. The views of the other islands is wonderful. The rainbows in the mornings and evenings are a sight to see.Napili Shores is not a fancy place and I would not want it to be.I smile every time time I think about Napili Shores.
