- What's Included
Stayed here for 6 nights, great value and location was perfect. Within a 5 minute walk from most things including the basketball stadium and plenty of shops and restaurants around. RoomWe're really clean and beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Pool area was really nice with a nice bar and restaurant. The one small complaint is that because of the way it's shaded you don't get too many hours of sun there. Gym and all other facilities were great
My best friend decided to surprise me on a number of occasions through out our staycation at the Intercontinental. Some awesome colleagues that should be named are Ousmane Balde (bellman), Henroy (bellman) Isaac Seville (banquets) Jodi or Joey (female daytime bartender). We were there to share opinions and market research information over a few hours the day we arrived at the hotel. The space is incredible and beautiful. Close to everything and truly a great location.
I was only there for a little over twelve hours so it is difficult to review whole property. The location is excellent as noted by most. I was given a corner bay view room on the 11th floor that was quiet and plenty large enough. Unfortunately it was dark during my time there so I couldn't really appreciate the view. Check in was quick and desk agent friendly.I was not able to get up to pool area so I can't say anything about it. I was there solo on a short business trip. I was going to eat at restaurant but it was fairly full. I was hoping to sit at bar because I was solo but there were no seats available. I opted then to go up to room and order room service and was glad I did. There is a good sized menu and plenty of choices. I was told the food would be up in about 40-45 minutes. It arrived in about 30 minutes and I was happy. I had a full meal and would give it an excellent review if I were doing a restaurant review. Well above average for room service standards. This hotel is close to our office in Miami. This will be my choice for future stays in the area.
I have stayed at this IC many times. The hotel is more of a business atmosphere and therefore is quite boring but the staff and the hotel is good. This property makes up the good name for IC in Miami because the other property, the IC Doral is one of the worst ICs, not even a Holiday Inn standard. Got a duplex suite and the service was impecable. The only complaints would be the room service which has the most horrible presentation and taste of buffalo wings and the breakfast buffet that is exactly the same everyday, and I stayed more than a week...
The hotel itself is a little small however it packs a punch. Choose from a drink at the bar or watch some tv in the open floor planned lounge. Have a business meeting in a peaceful designated area in the lobby . The food service is phenomenal fast and delicious not one bad thing to say about my stay. The view from the rooftop pool is breathtakingly. The service members were selflessly help full in pointing you in the right direction for whatever your evening entails.
