This hotel is ideally located near Miami Beach and in the heart of the shopping district. It borders Bayside Marketplace with its modern shops and restaurants. Wonderful views may be enjoyed out over Biscayne Bay from this exclusive; luxurious city hotel. Links to the public transport network may easily be reached on foot and Fort Lauderdale is around 13 km away.

Boat show 2017

Intercontinental has to be the nicest, closest to sailboat show and 3 min walk to water taxi to powerboats. Great free breakfast and restaurants. We had an amazing view of biscane bay and watched the cruise ships come and go across the way

Favourite Miami Hotel

Beautiful Hotel, service is exemplary! Rooms well appointed, always get the Bay view, you can watch the cruise ships sail in and dock. Nice walk to Bayside with lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from.

Things to know..

Stayed here on business, not by choice. I prefer boutique hotels. The place was very clean, modern renovations, felt very Miami. Things to note:Rooms - we got a room on 24th floor I think because I am in their frequent stay program (only because of work). The room was huge, had a little bay view. Bathroom way above average, had tub and walk in show, plenty of space for a lady to spread out her toiletries, good products. Water pressure was total crap and the water never actually got hot even on full blast. The walls are thin, could easily here people in rooms on either side of us.Pool - Be aware that in winter months this pool gets sun from exactly 930am to 10:45am and then that's it for the day. Good to know if you are the guest of the busines traveler and were planning to get some sun.Spa - had a pedicure since there was no sun. $50 plus tip for the express 30 minute. Very average experience at typical Miami hotel prices. The spa people were not very friendly.Location - I think this is the Brickell neighborhood. Lots of expensive restaurants in walking distance. Also a park that is next door, you can walk along the waterfront but it leads to what is essentially an outdoor shopping mall packed full of low end or chain restaurants. Would be good for families with children though, plenty of choices and much cheaper than the rest of the neighborhood. Little Havanna and South Beach are both 20 minutes by Uber in opposite directions.

I had an excellent experience in and out of the Hotel. I highly recommend to everyone. Mr. Mario, Bell man help me with the transportation and different places to visit. I participated on the Miami Half Marathon 2017 and it was a good experience.

Exceeded our expectations

We stayed here one night prior to our cruise the next day. Our luggage was immediately whisked to the front desk, where we were warmly greeted by Farhan. Although we had reserved a bay view room, we had hoped to be able to upgrade to a port view, and Farhan was very helpful in accommodating us. We also ate a great meal at Toro Toro (conveniently located in the lobby) -- don't miss the Chicharron de Camarones (crispy shrimp)!

Vacations packages include round-trip flights, accommodations, round-trip transfers (unless outlined below) to and from the hotel, and tourist cards (if required, unless outlined below).

If selecting an all-inclusive resort option, the package will also include the all-inclusive features as outlined by each resort.
