Newport Beachside Resort
- What's Included
Excellent service by all the hotel staff members. The reception staff specially I forgot his name but he was star performer of the year. Very help full. Hotel is located on beach, view was nice. We had great time.
This hotel was extremely dirty. We booked 3 rooms and every room was filthy. The pool area was filthy. Everything was filthy! There was no effort on behalf of the cleaning crews ( the pool area and the rooms) to leave the areas clean. Even when we first checked into the room you could tell the room had not been cleaned well. I would not recommend this hotel ever! FILTHY, FILTHY, FILTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed in this hotel for two nights (not consecutive) nights before and after trip to Key West. I can tell that this hotel have seen better times. We arrived for the first night a bit earlier about 3 pm and our room was not ready. The manager at the counter told us she will call us as soon as it's ready. We went by the beach bar to get something to eat and drink. At 6 pm still no one called us. We went back to the lobby to as what's going on. There was a different manager who told us that our room is not ready but accommodated us to a different room. Room itself was ok. Second night experience was different. We arrived around 8 pm and got the room right away. However the room was terrible. The room looked like it hosted multiple orgies over the time. Walls, window and furniture had numerous scratches and marking and looked terrible. Balcony was even worse and had puke stains. Because it was late and we were tired I decided not to change rooms. It was clean inside at least. And the hotel charges resort fee!? I would not recommend it.
This is the worst hotel ever. Trust me ! No customer service skills at all. It's a old hotel. It stinks and valet is the worst !! The valet guy got ugly with me husband when we waited 20 minutes for our car to come up and my husband went to tell him that the key tag they had on our rental car said that our car is white when it was orange. He smarted off to my husband. When my husband asked to speak to the Mgr. The Mgr had no customer service skills and said he's valet guy felt treated because my husband works out and is in good shape. Really?? They have a bunch of hides charges. They have resort fees and valet fees per day then add tax and service charges to them. They did nothing to compensate us on any problems to resolve anything. There was no menu in the room so when I called for one 30 minutes later they threw a piece of paper under the door with a kitchen menu. No one answered the phone in the kitchen for room service nor does valet answer their phones so they can bring your car up before you get down there. The location is great but the hotel is old and I had never been treated the way they treat their guest when we spent a lot of money to stay there. Please stay away from the hotel. There are a lot others on the beach with great services. We are now at "the Gates " Double Tree and the customers service here is unbelievable!
I was really pleased with this hotel. The entrance lobby, pool and beach areas were great. The pier right next to the hotel was a great spot to watch the sunrise. This hotel could be great with some room updates the rook. We were given had broken dresser among other things but overall this was a good place to spend a day in
