I planned this trip as a Sweet Sixteen bday gift for my daughter. Upon arriving the lobby was elegant looking so I was impressed. Upon checkin I was advised that I didn't get the Ocean View room as I originally booked online. I pleaded with the hotel clerk to please check this as it was my daughters bday and I wanted to make it special for her. After checking the clerk came back and said I had to pay an additional $40 for the ocean view of which I immediately declined. The hotel charges Resort fees of $17.95 of which we did not use. The pool closes at 8 p.m. and beach access closes at 10 p.m. and I did not see or utilize any Resort amenities. To add more to the disappointment the room we received had ripped carpet, wires hanging from the TV, paint peeling, and the room was just extremely outdated old and dingy. I was very disappointed with the room and had to call housekeeping twice to deliver towels. I will never stay at this hotel again as I feel like I was not accommodated for the money spent. I would not recommend this hotel to family nor friends.
I had a beautiful room with Saltillo tile, a full refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, microwave, dishes, pots & pans, 2 closets, and all was clean. The only complaints I had was the bed seemed old and the vent in the bathroom kind of creeped me out being at eye level right overlooking the tub. I had a gorgeous view overlooking the beach and the ocean. All for a very reasonable price.
Clean, friendly staff, cheap valet!!! It's great for the price!! We had an oceanfront room with a balcony and the view was spectacular!!! This is an older property but renovated the pool has been restored also because at it's deepest it's 11ft!!!! Best pool ever!!! Nothing spectacular just a pool that deep is a rarity!!! Pet friendly!!!
I reported to maintenance that my air vent was leaking water into our room. They told me it was because I had walked in from the balcony and left the door open and left. My last day there I woke up around 6am and tripped and fell in the puddle for the 2nd time, this time injuring my wrist. Obviously the balcony door was not open at this time considering I had just woken up. I let the hotel know upon departure that I was injured but didn't have time to visit the hospital because of my early flight. I have tried to contact someone with Ramada/Wyndham several times and even emailed pictures of my injury with no luck. The hotel stinks like mold and really needs updated rooms. The lobby and public areas are nice...but the rooms definitely are not. The only part I liked about my stay was the bartender "Kevin". Pay a little more and stay somewhere else!
This room was nothing but problems. Not only do we have to move rooms. We dealt with inappropriate behavior. People were doing sexual things on balconies next-door. It was pot smoking going on in pot smelling odor's in the hallway. We then we moved to another room 616 and there was nothing but Problems with the water as the showers did not work. We saw one bug in the room but I'm really not going to complain anymore because all we want is to give you guys another try because I've stayed there several times. I'm hoping you can comp us a room back for three days so we can try to rekindle our experience.
