Awesome location, nice rooms, careful with the restaurant

The location is fabulous! Next to many restaurants, it's right on the beach, perfect place for a vacation. The restaurant in the hotel is extremely expensive and the food is mediocre at best. Two different dishes were returned. So go ahead and stay there but stay away from their restaurant.

Very good, loved the ocean view.

We stayed in an oceanfront suite, and it was worth it. Excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean from anywhere in the suite and balcony, and sunrise with the curtains open is magnificent. Customer service from all of the workers was excellent, from the gentlemen who greeted us when we pulled up, to the valet workers, front desk workers, and the restaurant staff. Our car was retrieved quickly every time with the valet staff. The wait for the elevators was usually too long. The room itself was nice. The bathroom was big enough and had a separate shower and bathtub, although they are attached to each other. The king bed was comfortable; the sofa in the living area was ok, although I have had many other sofa's that were more comfortable. The carpet was a little thin, but not too bad. The beach was excellent. We ate breakfast at the restaurant each day; one day was just the free muffins (small ones), juice and coffee; the second day was a stuffed croissant and a yogurt parfait that was plenty to eat. Service was excellent at the restaurant. Overall condition of the hotel was very good. I would stay there again.

Very Poor Service

U get charged for everything and food and beverages are over priced. all employees carry on like angry because ur taken a couple of days off. not very friendly and request you to pay for everything: ICE, New clean towels. The beach chairs and umbrellas available for the guests are like for a fifth of the rooms in the hotel, so if you dont get in before 9am your wait time for a beach chair could be at least an hour.

Beach is amazing, the hotel not so much.

the wait for the elevators is a serious problem. one, maybe two, working elevators is totally unacceptable. i'm sure that's the reason for housekeeping delays and other problems because we waited 20 minutes for elevator to take us down to the beach. why doesn't management fix this problem? from the other reviews, it seems like this has been a problem for quite some time. regarding the hotel room itself- really nice views but incredibly sparse- not one napkin or paper towel to wipe up spilled coffee. there's a dishwasher but no soap to wash dishes. if you have dietary restrictions and plan on cooking, make sure you bring pots, pans, napkins, forks, knives, spatulas, because the room is equipped with very, very few items. no coolers allowed. Fresh American Bistro is a verrry good restaurant. thankfully. again, have patience for the elevators. now the beach is just absolutely perfect. crystal clear waters. spent all day out there, arrive early because beach chairs run out!!, the pool is small we didn't really use it because the beach is just too too perfect. beach service on point and you can also order food at the pool. this hotel would be five stars if it weren't for the ridiculously awful elevators, and room sparseness. a balcony chair would be a nice touch too.

Disappointing service

No coffee maker, slow housekeeping service, old furniture, balcony door barely opened. I can't say that I liked much of my experience at this hotel. The parking was really expensive for over night. Even having someone visit us, the daily rate was outrageous.
