Great hotel, lovely staff, amazing location!!

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my mum for my 18th birthday. When we arrived at the hotel we were tired due to the long flight and dragging our cases on the LIRR, but check in was very quick and easy. We were on the 11th floor and our room was quite small but big enough and very clean. A few days in there was an incident involving my mother (nothing to do with the hotel) but the staff were more than helpful and allowed us to move rooms straight away. We were placed in a room on the 20th floor which was amazing and very kind of them to do so. The beds and pillows were very comfy, the hotel was very clean and tidy and it is located almost opposite MSG and just a 10/15 minute walk from Times Square, making it very Central yet further away from the noise. We would like to especially thank Glenda, Tom and the head of security (sorry we didn't get your name!) for being so helpful and ensuring that our stay was amazing! Will definitely be returning!

Bring earplugs...otherwise great !

We stayed at the Stewart for 5 days, certainly enjoyed our stay. Location right across from MSG and Penn station is very convenient. We had an one bedroom suite, very comfortable room with a living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. The pull out sofa was not really nice to sleep on, so we got a roll awaybed for the third adult in our room.This hotel dates back to the late twenties and has been completly renovated and re-designed. Too bad the floors are not really insulated. For two nights in a row the people on the floor above us were having a party. We could literally hear them talking and shouting. Hotel security got them quiet again and they were removed after the second night of partying at 3 AM.The windows and window AC units are not sound proof so sound from the street, even on the 16th floor is audible in the room,hence the earplugs. Of course when you stay in the middle of Manhattan you know that there is going to be noise, but the plugs help you getting a good night sleep on the comfortable beds.Our room was located on the the 31st street side of the hotel. The church on 31st starts ringing the bells at 7 am.... No need for an alarm clock !Too bad there's no free breakfast buffet at the hotel, but lots of places around the corner to get your maorning coffee and grubs.The staff at the front desk and the doormen are really helpful and friendly. You can get a free bottle of water every day at the desk for every person staying in the room, printing of boarding passes is free at the front desk and wi-fi thru-out the hotel is good and free. I initially got the 6 day pass for 62,95 but at check-out they reimbursed me for that !Will stay here again.

Great staff, great hotel!!!

My friend and I were in the city for the Westminster Dog Show. We've stayed at this hotel for the last 3 yrs. We arrived on 2/14/2017, and we checked out on 2/15/2017. We were checked in by a wonderful employee named Andrew. He took it upon himself to upgrade our room without my friend and I asking for this upgrade. At no additional cost to us!!! He was a delight, friendly, funny and charming. He asked us to please contact him during our stay if we needed anything. He also caled us after we had gotten into our room to see if we were pleased with the upgrade. PLEASED is an understatement!!! He gave us a suite!!! He is an exemplary employee. Hotel Stewart should commend him for his outstanding customer service!!! Maurice also helped us when we picked up our stored luggage before we left. He is always courteous to travelers! He's helped us in past stays, and is a wonderful employee.

Holy. moly. WHAT A STAY.

right off the bat i was impressed by the amazing service provided at the front desk by the employee Andrew , he helped my locate my room and gave great advice on what to do while on my vacation. i would absolutely go back to this hotel for any reason just as an excuse to get away !

Best Hotel I've EVER Been To

This hotel by far is the best one I've been too. I've been all over the country and this is my favorite one by far. Andrew at the front desk was very accommodating when I asked for help when I first got to the hotel. He was of such assistance and knew where all the popular places to eat were. He was so helpful and made my experience so much better that I can't wait to be back!
