We were 10 hights in the hotel. Here are the positive sites: 1. Very helpful staff 2. Perfect location 3. Really clean rooms 4. Vert comfortable beds5. Nice bathroom w/o complaints 6. Tv in the room 7. Refrigerator 8. Perefect service! Here are the minuses: 1. Wi-Fi is paid in the rooms - available only in the lobby 2. Room was to dark - only 1 small window I can recommend the hotel cause it covers all expectations. K.T.
Great stay! Would definitely stay again. Room was perfect for 2...Close to everything, including Times Square .Shot out to Susan, Jen, Kamel, and Tom; thanks for making our stay easy, and stress-free.
We stayed in the Amsterdam Court Hotel from the 16th March to the 20th March 2017. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She informed us that we had been upgraded to a kingsize room which was a lovely surprise. A porter took our bags up to our room (don't forget to tip), which was very spacious with a massive bed. There were only 3 downfalls for me and one if which is me being fussy...1. our bathroom was absolutely freezing although if you put the shower on it soon heated up, 2. there were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room ( i love a coffee when i wake up) 3. the noise of the pipes during the night was awful, we ended up turning the heat down really low at night to stop this. Other than that the location was perfect for everything we were doing, it was 2 blocks away from times square and we were right in the middle of the theatre district. there is a tube station right beside it. The one other think is we were on the 5th floor but the noise of the traffic outside and sirens takes a bit of getting used to. I wouldn't be put off staying in this hotel again however I do like my home comforts so would probably go for somewhere with the things I mentioned above sorted. You get what you pay for and for the price we paid this hotel was very good.
You won't find a more friendly and helpful staff anywhere. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and a small refrigerator is included. Location is PERFECT near Times Square, Central Park and several subway station access points within 2 blocks. Only one problem, which won't keep me from returning, is that trying to keep the shower temp regulated is near impossible so you will have cold/hot fluctuations. There are many great places to eat close by including the Times Square Diner (be careful ordering as 1 breakfast is more than enough for 2!), Basera Indian (50th & 9th Ave.) was wonderful, "au bon pain" bakery cafe (delicious) is within 4 blocks plus many others. Our favorite place was right at the hotel. Natsumi, located on both sides of the hotel lobby, is Modern Japanese Cuisine with an awesome sushi bar. We ate dinner there twice even though there are tons of other places because it was delicious and sitting at the sushi bar is just fun! We will stay here again next time in NYC!
We had an amazing time in New York whilst staying in this hotel over St Patrick's week. The hotel is so central to Times Square, you are only a few steps away from the heart of the city, you are also not far from 5th ave and Central Park. Our room was tiny and dated but it was clean and that's all we needed as we were never in the hotel. Staff were very helpful. We had the most amazing trip and to top it off we got engaged. We will defo stay here again. Thanks
