Location: In Soho, Manhattan. Within easy walking distance to Little Italy, Chinatown, Tribeca and shopping on Canal Street. 16km to LaGuardia Airport and 22km from Newark Airport.

High Dollar - Small Value

As a Diamond member - this hotel does not appear to value people's comfort, quality of room, quality of service, parking is a BIG problem, treated rudely and room was very small - felt like a closest!

Love the Hampton Inn SoHo NYC

We have stayed here twice over the last 4 months due to family celebrations in NYC. This is an amazing hotel thank you to Melinda Park the General Manager. We were staying for a christening the second time and she remembered and asked how it went. How sweet is that. Would you credit that we were in room 1502 on both occasions!!The hotel is so close to so many tourist sights including 9/11, Wall Steet, Brooklyn Bridge, Staten Island Ferry, amazing eateraries in Tribeca and the ferries to Hoboken. The Canal Street subway round the corner will get you to everything else. Turn left when you get out of the hotel and left again and you are on 6th Ave walk straight up to Greenwich Village, beautiful shops.We booked through Booking.com and noticed that the prices for this hotel change on a daily basis. 4 of us shared a room for £885 for 7 nights! Admittedly you need to be with family or your closes friends!!! Snoring!!! The room is big enough for a week sharing. I cancelled and re booked 5 time till I got this price which included breakfastCoffee and tea is literally on tap all day outside the wee restaurant. Breakfast was good with most choices for everyone. Sophie in the restaurant is amazing and will look after you but remember she is off on a Friday if you want to tip her. I missed her and was gutted I did not get the chance to say thank you. IF YOU READ THIS MELINDA WILL YOU LET HER KNOW PLEASE.Don't forget a wander up to floor 19 to the roof terrace the view is amazing especially of Manhattan Bridge.There is a lovely small bar in the hotel although it's not always open.We will be back sometime and would not look anywhere else than this hotel......... it's like home from home.Thank you so much for looking after us.Regards to you all

Comfort and convenience in the city

I really enjoy staying at the Hampton inn because of their convenience to my work in Soho. The rooms are what you'd expect in NYC..just big enough for 2 people to comfortably maneuver around. I usually travel by myself but once had my husband with me. The other hotels I've stayed in would have been uncomfortable for 2. Rooms are clean and if you face away from watts street, they're quiet. If you do face watts, I hope you invest in some ear plugs because the entrance to the Holland tunnel is noisy, no matter what floor you're on. The staff are friendly and the Otis spunkmeyer cookies at the front are a nice touch. The free breakfast is standard - no real complaints. Location and price can't be beat if you're spending time in TriBeCa/soho area. A nice 10 min walk to the east village for some good eats too. The 1 train is just around the corner and the CE is nearby if you need to go uptown.Only downside to this hotel, aside from being right on watts st, is the slooowww elevator. Give yourself an extra 5 min in the morning if you're coming from a high floor. Definitely recommend if you're here on business.

A nice place to stay with a very accommodating staff. Room was small but clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Close to subway. Close to NYU, Chinatown & Little Italy.Different things were offered for breakfast daily.

Good General Manager and Good Accounting and Sales Manager with Well trained personnel

The General Manager Ms Park and the Accounting Manager are very good guest care providers including the front desk associates.The personnel is nice/polite, humble.The hotel is clean.The food is good.The only issue is the parking manager and staff who overcharge illegally.The parking staff and management staff charge the same SUVs size different prices for the same size to different drivers/owners. There is an anarchy for parking occupation in terms of price charge or fee to different persons for the same size of cars based on people coming from various areas of the USA for Business, Pleasure/Tourisms, Familily Gathering and so on. That is wrong.
