Beautiful View, Plenty of Space, Nice Staff, Great Location. Super high balcony!Lacking some maintenance items like heaters were bad, and paint job was bad, and no art on the walls. Really spacious for NYC.Reasonable price.It's very different from a chain hotel, better in some ways (view, kitchen, space), worse in others (maintenance items, no pool, probably fewer staff ). I would definitely stay here again.
It is the only hotel at which we stay for every trip to NYC. On average, we visit New York 4 -6 times each year. This is not your traditional hotel. This is like having your own apartment in the Big Apple. Outstanding hospitality by everyone, every time we visit. Front desk team, housekeeping team, maintenance staff, bellman all have an incredible culture of service to meet the needs of every guest. Great suites with full kitchens; and many rooms with your own washer and dryer. This is truly an apartment hotel; no restaurant, no gift shop, no room service...but who needs any of that when you have 400+ restaurants within a few city blocks, and every one of them, via Seamless Web, will deliver right to your room. The new Q subway line (aka - the 2nd Avenue Subway) is right out the front door of the hotel providing access to the entire city. The people at the hotel are extremely kind,and professional. The housekeeping staff will go out of their way to assist with whatever you need. Take good care them. No need stay anywhere else when visiting New York.
Good location for upper east side.parking close by. Across the street from Nicks restaurant- great Italian food. Comfortable living room area. Could use a vending machine or two. Subway station for Q line right outside the front door.
By far the best hotel I've been to in New York. Incredible service, fantastic rooms with full kitchen; it's like a studio!!The people at the hotel are extremely kind, smart, and professional. Highly recommended!!
We usually stay in the Times Square area so this area was new to us! Subway is close by, plus lots of things to do in the area. We will stay at the Marmara from now on. Great staff, everyone is courteous, professional and welcoming. A true gem of a hotel!
