Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
- What's Included
This is a noisy, tired, dated hotel. Great for hosting busloads of junior high kids from Ohio; otherwise choose somewhere else. Rooms are dark and carpets are worn. If you have to stay in Midtown near Times Square, find other lodging.Front desk staff was a bit surly.
Room was fine and hotel is in a good location to get to many places. Drawback is the crazy elevator system and that they were a little slow. The lounge was great. Beware you may stay in lines as this is a busy property.
I've stayed here many times over the years, and I'll keep coming back. The location is great, the staff have always been nice, and they've worked to uodate the rooms over the years. Yes, its a little careworn, but the rooms are comfortable. If I had one complaint, it would be that the walls are not quite thick enough to block your neighbors out entirely.
I attended a business meeting here for a couple of days. Maybe it is not the cheapest option in town, but it is well placed, the facilities for me were just fine, wifi was reliable, rooms clean etc. The food provided was plentiful (perhaps too much to the point of being wasteful?) and of excellent quality. My one slight moan is that the fitness centre comes with a pretty steep charge, so I didn't use it. Nor did many of my colleagues who would have done routinely as we all spend too much time in meetings and not enough on exercise unless the facility is easy to use (and it is so often free)
From the front desk to the door person - the service was excellent. The view from the club level room was incredible!I recommend the upgrade. There was a good variety of food and drinks with access to computers and printers if needed.
