Warwick New York Hotel
- What's Included
If you are staying in the City, the Warwick Hotel is the best choice. It is a beautiful hotel-well located, extremely quiet, with great restaurant amenities. You will stay nowhere else once you have stayed her.
Stayed here in March, 2017 for 6 nights. I will strongly consider staying at the Warwick again. You can't beat the location, no matter which attractions you want to visit in NYC--it's centrally located so you can get anywhere in the city relatively easily. It is a smaller hotel (I like this) and our room was a King bed which had a street view. We were surprised by how large the room was for NYC. Both the bed and bath were super clean, room service was prompt and friendly-- all good. My only complaint with the Warwick was there are no in-room coffee makers. As is the case with most room service fees in most major cities, the food and beverage were very over-priced, but there are multiple coffee chops nearby if you need morning coffee. I only wish we wouldn't have had to leave the hotel to get our first cup. All in all, I'd recommend this hotel and would strongly consider staying again. EXCELLENT LOCATION!
Superb location for Central Park, Rockefeller Centre and Manhattan and size of rooms is big for New York hotels. Bed was REALLY comfortable and I love that there is a bath as well as a shower for weary travelers. First room I was allocated looked into a dark 'light' well with a big, noisy extractor fan. They changed it quickly and second room was peaceful and bigger but still with little daylight (I have had much nicer rooms in the past so I know they exist). Doorman and Concierge both really helpful. Randalls is good for drink/bite but breakfast rather ordinary.
Perfect location, close to everywhere. We also have free sleepers after request. The room is very clean although you cannot see anything from the window based on what rooms you pay for. The resort fee ($25 per night) cannot be waived if you book on Expedia, and you have to book on their official website. This point is not very kind though.
The location for our two-day trip was perfect. We either walked everywhere – or took the subway just two blocks away. Love staying in these older hotels. So much charm and character. We had a premier king on the 16th floor (corner unit) and it was unusually large with high ceilings, spotlessly clean and decorated nicely. Very comfortable. We were there celebrating my significant other’s birthday and the hotel surprised him with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate-covered strawberries. A very thoughtful and appreciated way to start our stay. The only negative I had at all is the bathrooms are quite small and there’s literally no place to put any toiletries or things we typically use. I’d suggest hanging a few shelves either above the towel rack or over the commode which would be a huge plus. Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and welcoming, making our stay that much nicer. We didn’t eat in any of the restaurants since we already had plans with others so I can’t comment on any food. If you join their FREE rewards program (Warwick Journeys), you get free WIFI and room upgrades when available. Check it out for other member benefits. I would definitely stay here again.
