Perfect for a New York Tourist

This is best hotel for a tourist like me, who loves to watch musicals. The best thing about it is the location, it's in the heart of Time Square. The rooms are also surprisingly spacious for a New York room. It's quiet and clean, everything you need in a hotel. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for someone visiting New York for the first time, especially if you don't live in USA.

Very helpful staff, all very pleasant. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere, room always clean, one day did not clean the room, but once we told reception it was done straight away. Restuarant good food also. Had a great stay and would stay again. Also lovely beds and slept really well, no noise could be heard from outside at all.

Worst Westin Hotel Ever - Terrible Front Desk Manager - No Appreciation for SPG status

I usually don't like to give bad reviews to a nice hotel!This is definitely a nice hotel with really good access to times square BUT:Forget about parking - $75/night with no In/Out ability - they will charge you each time you take your car In/Out of Parking via Valet Parking.Front desk has ZERO appreciation for SPG Platinum members. Upgrades are not honored and SPG status is ignored. If you call the front desk manager (Emily Donaldson) all she will do is lie to your face about availability of Suite upgrades. Ask to speak with GM and forget about it, it won't happen.SPG now Starwood, Marriott, and Ritz Carlton are running a scam! They try to lure you to spend tens of nights per years with promise of status and "An upgrade to best available room at check-in — including a Standard Suite." and when you stay at these hotels and after many weeks and months for staying at hotel rooms, you need to beg and plea with the front desk to get the room you worked so hard to earn! Only after making a fuss, calling the manager, and getting really upset do you {sometimes} get an upgraded room, and not even a suite.I was trying to file a BBB complaint about this hotel, but run into some difficulties.The only way to get their attention is to file a complaint. There is no other way.

Stay Westin New York Timesquare

It was great, we were suppose to arrive later than we did the day that we were going to check in and the guy at the front desk, even though, it was early, found a room for us and accommodate to our needs. It was really cold outside and we were really tired so really appreciate his help. I wish I remember his name.

Extremely Disappointed in Stay

After booking a suite, they couldn't deliver it to me. Put me in a corner room to compensate where every noise from street could be heard. Mysterious banging on pipes during the night. Worst SPG hotel
