I stayed at this hotel for 6 days and the experience was terrible.First my wife arrived 4hours before me, the didn't let her check in because the booking was done by me, OK. She asked for wifi to explain this to me and they said they couldn't give her access if she did not check in so she stayed for 4 hours waiting at the lobby. The room is big but really old, water pressure horrible and wifi almost impossible to connect. Even more you can't use wifi with more than two devices!!! (Of course if you pay you can)I don't recomend you to choose this hotel at all!
Great experience at the Caribe Royal. I stayed there with my family from May 16th-May 20, 2016. It was our first time vacationing in Orlando and we had a blast. The hotel is about 2 miles from Walt Disney World. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds, living room, flat screen tv, and a mini refrigerator. The hotel grounds are pretty amazing-lush and clean. The pool is quite nice and it has a slide! The gym is fully equipped with weights, elliptical and treadmill. There is even a children's playground and wading pool on the premises. We had breakfast buffet at Tropicana daily where there was wonderful service and great. I thought the breakfast was pricey ($20/pp). Cafe 24 was a nice perk to have since its open 24 hours and you can get a light dinner, wine, soda, or snacks. There is a bus shuttle service that the hotel offers which is relatively cheap. The downside is that there is no early or late bus service. If you want to get to Disney before 9 am or if you want to see the fireworks you are out of luck. All in all I would stay here again but probably rent a car to come and go as I please. I thought for the price it was good for families, couples, or business conferences.I hope this review helps you.Safe Travels,Sevilla0787
My husband and I came down here for a winter getaway and had a great trip. The hotel is very nice with a good choice of accomodations. We had really good service by all employees, but the cherry on top was an employee by the name of Steve Brown. We were sitting poolside in loungers enjoying the evening, when he engaged us in conversation and went to get us towels for pillows....truly above and beyond. Come to find out he was in on his day off....what a great attitude!!!!
We booked this hotel through hotwire at the 4 star rating for one night. When we arrived we were charged a resort fee. Everything resort orientated was closed when we arrived and closed the next morning when we departed. We literally went there to sleep and were still charged the resort fee. With that aside the property is very big, as it is indeed a convention center and hotel. The room was run down and not very clean. The bathroom was VERY small and again, not very clean. The only way this place could be rated at 4 stars is due to the amenities because the service and rooms were NOT that of a 4 star hotel. Not worth it.
The restaurants were wonderful. The rooms clean. I did notice they don't do much to locate your lost items. Very close to Disney. I think the pool looked nice but we didn't have enough time to swim. The kids loved the all night pizza and I enjoyed the store. The coffee was not good. They need to change coffee vendors.
