If you are going to Disney and don't want to spend a ton of money on accommodations but are here for the park, this property has everything you. Yes it is set up like a motel and the rooms are a little smaller but hey, you are here for the park and beautiful weather. The room are very quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff is super "Disney" friendly. When getting food at the court make sure to check out the coolers in the back that have healthier options. The bar by the pool has a few craft beers in stock. We'll be back!
Family had a great vacation at Disney. Motel was clean every day and everything worked well except the toilet. We stayed in the room for less time than we do in Vegas. Prices for food and such are pretty high but there's a fridge in the room if you want to save a few more dollars. Bus service was fantastic to all the parks. Outdoor bar has a great selection of beers, was nice to grab one on the way to the room.Great attention to details, Disney!!!
I traveled on crutches with torn ligaments. I waited standing at the front desk for almost 30 minutes for a ground floor room to be found. No assistance offered in on property dining, pool, etc. We went to celebrate 2 graduations which was known in advance. Nothing was acknowledged. I had some issues weigh misinformation by resort staff re dining plan and again, no acknowledgement. We have been at Disney at least 10 times and once before at this resort. Such a disappointing experience.
From the minute my daughters see the enormous and I am talking enormous dalmatians, Woody and Buzz they loved this resort. I thought it was just perfect for our requirements. It is not overly flash, I wouldn't want to hang around the resort all day but guys this is Disney, the last thing you are planning on doing is staying in your hotel all day. This was clean, tidy, quiet and the staff all had the Disney level of service. We thought it was great value for money and even had 2 pools which are both really nicely Disney themed. Good parking, plenty of room in the restaurant at breakfast time, a good bus service to the parks, decent sized shop and pictures that displayed your name as you walked through the foyer. The room was on the small side, and my daughters had to share a smallish double bed but they were so tired after being in the Disney parks all day it didn't really matter. The only other thing missing that we did get at the Disneyland Paris hotels was visits from Disney characters, here we didn't see any characters and my daughters did love seeing Mickey greeting guests at reception in Paris.
This was my first and last time staying at a value resort. Disney values cleanliness and our room was the opposite Our ice bucket had a used straw in it, our toiletries were half used, and everything was very grimy, almost as if housekeeping hasn't made a visit to that room in a couple of years.I have stayed in stayed in several Disney resorts and this is my first time I've ever been disappointed and felt the need to switch to a different resort and I would have if I was there for more than just one night. If you're okay with staying in Disney's Motel 6 then go for it. If you prefer a nice clean room, go ahead and go straight to moderate. I am willing to dish out the extra money for a bathroom I feel like I can shower in and not feel dirtier than I was before the shower.
