Great hotel for the price

This is a great hotel if you are going to Disney on a tight budget. Check-in was super easy using the Disney App. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The pool was perfect and the food court was fantastic. In addition, the set up of the hotel is AMAZING. Each section is dedicated to a movie. We stayed in Love Bug. They had Toy Story, Fantasia and others. And the way the sections are decorated is so fun for the kids. They had a mini theater set up in the lobby and played Disney Movies all day for the kids. The gift shop was great too! It's about 20 minutes from the parks on the bus and the buses were always on time, with friendly drivers. The rooms are small but let's face it, you're at Disney World! You should be out enjoying the all that Disney has to offer and basically just sleeping or resting in your room. I would stay here again! My family truly enjoyed the trip!

Loved it!

We stayed at 3 different hotels during this WDW trip. They were the Wyndham at Disney Springs, The Animal Kingdom Lodge and All Star Movies resorts. All Star Movies blew them both away! Great price, food court was awesome and you get the Disney experience on a budget. Definitely will be back here for a full stay next time.

Not what it used to be...

Just got back from staying at this resort for a little weekend getaway to celebrate my son's birthday. Check in was a breeze. Went to the front desk and was helped quickly and greeted with a smile and just felt the disney welcome especially since I forgot our magic bands at home ☹...that was about it! Had a room in the Fantasia building building 5. Pro- Close to the main hall and pool. Room was small but perfect for us 3 due to the fact we were only there to sleep and shower.. we tend to spend all day at the parks...There was a distinct smell in the room but I just assumed it was from the wear and tear of the old carpet and it didn't really bother us, I guess we just got used to it inmediately. I did find an old pillowcase on the corner of the floor in the room as if the mouse keeper was rushing to clean the room for the next guest. Called front desk and it was resolved, no biggie. We have stayed here at this resort before and absolutely loved everything about it including the food. But the food now has gone to "yuck" and the service as well!!! Not much food to choose from and the workers seemed to have attitudes on top of it. We had more options at the all star sports and wayyy better service there. Now by the time to you finally get your food, pay, and grab a seat, the food is cold!!!only ate here twice and after the 2 bad experiences, we just finally decided to eat at the parks. The pool was about the best part of the resort. Both of my children and myself loved it. Nice water temperature, fun pool activities, and plenty of life guards. This was not our first time here at the all star movies but from the lack of " Disney Welcome" and just lack of the simplest of things that make us love the all things Disney, we will be trying out another disney resort for our next stay

Don't underestimate the all-stars

A lot of people give the all star resort a lot of hate because they are known as a field trip/sport event resort. This is probably one of the nicest all star resorts and it's fun for kids! It is a little bigger but it is clean and one of the favorites for my family

Excellent Value and Service

The All Star Resort is a value resort but don't let that fool you. They treated us like we were at a deluxe resort. Disney took care of everything for us. We flew a partnered airline, so our boarding passes were printed and delivered to us. We are already planning to our next trip. Free WiFi, two pools, kids activities, movies 24 hours a day, and laundry were a few of the nice touches. Keep in mind, the rooms are small, but realistically, you are at disney and how much time are you going to spend in your room. The resort only has quick service, but the food is good.
