Disney's All-Star Movies Resort
- What's Included
- All Inclusive Features
We arrived for one night at All-Star Movie Resort, and in our room, the carpet was wet beside the far bed by the bathroom and the room smelled very bad. So we opened all the door and windows to air it out. When one of my kids sat on one of the beds, it nearly caved in the centre and made a horrible creaking noise! The saggy mattress and springs were not fit to sleep on! This made me call down to front desk and I was immediately helped by Dylan Schworer, and he, within an hour, found us a new room, and had bell services move all our luggage there. He also put a credit on our account and left treats and drinks in our room. Incredible service from a very, very nice man. Thank you, Dylan!
We had a standard room but it was perfect for our trip. There were three of us in the room and we had plenty of room to move around. We stayed in the Dalmatians area which was between The Mighty Ducks pool and the Fantasia pool. We had a short walk to the food court and to the buses each morning. The staff was super friendly and were super helpful. Our check-in wasn't until 3 PM so we checked in and then went to the park. We got a text before 11 AM saying our room was ready. We didn't leave the park to go back but it was really cool to have our room ready so quickly.
Stayed with my daughter~ 20yrs old. May 9,10,11th 2017. This resort isn't just for kids, sure the decor looks more for children. They have something for everyone. It's very family oriented, the pools are to die for. The service is great. I enjoyed an afternoon by the pool and I didn't have a KID ! They do games, dances, movies. Restaurant on the premises with almost anything you could want from milk to fresh hummus (Mini-mart) only it is a little pricy, you can go shopping at the gift store. The rooms are very comfortable, not noisy got an excellent night's sleep.
Very expensive for what you get but there are lots of choices from fruit to yogurt parfaits to eggs and breakfast sandwiches, cereal, pastries etc.I asked for a plate of scrambled eggs, hot and creamy and very good. Picked up the yogurt parfait and danish for husband, he enjoyed it. The coffee has no real strong kick but it will have to do.
We stayed here four nights. The majority of our time was spent in the parks, but we found staying on Disney property to be convenient. The food court dining was easy to navigate. The rooms were clean and housekeeping added little touches like placing the kids' blankies in the shape of bow ties on top of the beds. There is a McDonalds close by to pick up food if you want to avoid Disney prices.
