Everything about this hotel is amazing! When you first walk in the beach smell is amazing! The service is first class everyone is so accommodating there. We spent seven nights and were able to walk to Epcot and take the boat to Hollywood Studios. The bus transportation was so easy and busses came frequently. Our kids loved the sand bottom pool they had various slides and a lazy river. I will never stay at another Disney Resort again. Everything is first-class here.

A couple little things this trip, but it's still the Beach Club:)

I've stayed here at least three times and found it to be the kind of place you want to go back to. This trip was not as magical as my others, but there were definitely some highlights. Stormalong Bay is a highlight! Hard to find seats if you go late in the afternoon, but that's to be expected. My son lost his MagicBand in the pool and after a little lifeguard hopping, we found found it. The first lifeguard I approached was a little too laid back and said they collect all the lost MagicBands at the end of the day and return them at night. I wasn't satisfied with that since we needed it to get into the room, parks and fastpass that were planned for later that afternoon! I disregarded him and moved on to the next one until I finally found the band. There were a few more leaves in the pool than I would like, but I guess it's hard to clean with the sand bottom. Other than that, we had a blast during our pool time! You really can't beat the location. Just a quick hop into Epcot and Hollywood Studios.I wish there were more food venues, especially late at night. I think that's the one downfall of this resort. The quick service area is lacking. It's set up more for the vacation villas, than the hotel rooms. The only thing you can get is a sandwich or a flatbread pizza. We're not big pre-cut lunch meat sandwich people, and how many nights can your entire party eat flatbread after a late night at the park? The gift shoppe that's attached to the quick service didn't have a nice selection this time around .Usually, I can find a great t-shirt to buy, but this time it was all very boring and seemed to be a smaller selection. Make sure you buy souvenirs in the park when you see them. I do love the bar/grille at the poool, but it closes when the pool closes. I wish that option had extended hours. For as popular as Beaches and Cream is, it can't accommodate many people and that becomes annoying...especially when you are a resort guest and can't get a seat! As for the Cape May Cafe, I feel like it's gone downhill lately. I remember saying I wouldn't go back the last time I went, but found myself there anyway on our last day before we went to the airport. What a waste of $150 for a family of 4. The buffet selection is not what it used to be years ago. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but for $150 there was no freshly made while you watch items, etc. Everything is just dumped in a tray and the Mickey waffles are lukewarm if they've been sitting for a few minutes. I've been to lavish breakfasts/brunches for this price and this is not one of them. There are 3 characters now, and we were almost done with our meal before we even saw one of them. It wouldn't be a big deal if one of them skipped our table by mistake, except that they didn't come near us until the end so there was no opportunity to wait for them to come back for round 2. The waitress stood by our table doing a whole lot of nothing, but didn't make an effort to make sure we had the drinks we wanted. As I said, it was my fault for giving it another chance since I knew the last time that it had become a disappointment, but one can hope! As for that Beach Club smell that we all know and love, well....it was almost nonexistent this trip. As soon as you walk in between the sets of sliding doors there was a candle-y smell, but not as nice as what I remembered from previous trips. That's pretty much where the pleasant smell stopped. The entire common area, including up the steps leading to the second floor, had a funky smell every day. It was a really bad smell! My son thought it was coming from the restaurant. Maybe the seafood at night was stinky? I have stayed here before and never smelled that smell. Ick. As for the rooms, we were very happy. We got an upgrade somehow and were looking straight on at the lake. Wow! Nice. The balcony furniture needed a good scrub, but the view was so nice I tried to ignore it...but I didn't even want to lay anything out to dry on them because they were that grimy. Room was superb, but housekeeping was not. Keep on top of what you need and make sure it's there when you get back at night. Trust me, you don't want to run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night like we did! And it's no fun to assume there are enough towels for everyone, only to find out that they only left 1 bath towel for 4 people. Not sure what that was about, but had to call a couple times and they sent it immediately. Oh, and on the boardwalk area outside of the resort there were overflowing trash cans! That's right. At Disney there were overflowing trash cans with pizza boxes laying on the ground next to it. NOT what I expect to see. That was over more by the ESPN restaurant, outside of the Boardwalk resort, but to me it's all connected. What's going on with Disney these day?I actually love the Beach Club, enough to pay the ridiculous price for it, but this time around I saw a few things I wasn't expecting. I always think one should know what they are getting into, so I tell it like it is.

Quiet possibly the best hotel in the world 🌎 Fun to be in apart from the fact they let people in the pool after 11:00pm and keep you awake all night until 2:00 am and when you report it they tell you the pool is open 24 hrs

Stayed at The Beach Club for one week in June 2017 with my husband and 7yr old son. Beautiful lobby and the most amazing room with a huge balcony overlooking the beach/boardwalk area. The location is fab with only a 5 min walk to Epcot and short boat ride to Hollywood Studios, all buses to other parks came regular and never waited longer than 10-15 mins for a bus. The pool area is the best one we have visited always found a sun lounger no matter what time we went, my son loved the slide. Had a few meals at pool bar and the food was great. Ate twice at Yachtsman Steakhouse and was well worth it. Had a fantastic week wish we could have stayed longer.
