Overall I give it an OK...staff were great... actually really really nice. Rooms are nice and proximity to Epcot is amazing,,,,ok so where is my reluctance..... well you have to walk forever to get to the pool and although everyone and his brother thinks this pool is the be all to end all ...I think lazy river small and you move nowhere. In order to get to the slide you have to use a common walkway where anyone can be strolling by. This is not my idea of a first class hotelYes it is nice but nothing in my opinion fantastic to warrant over $500 per night room,I did not like hurricane harrahs at all...drinks super super expensive and weak. Next time I will stay at Boardwalk or Dolphin. I gave this resort an extra try because this trip I had my 7 year old granddaughter...but we split stay and the 2nd half of our trip was wilderness lodge and after 5 minutes in resort..she said...oh wow... I love this place so much better...enough said
This is a real resort. The food, the recreation, the restaurants, the hotel, the total package. Best place to stay at the Disney Resort. Best pool anywhere. Staff are amazing. Always treat everyone like a superstar.
Conveniently located to the boardwalk where my son's wedding was. A few disappointments since this was a luxury hotel and expensive. There was no early morning coffee for early risers. My husband had to go off property for it. There was no evening turn down service or maid service. We had to ask for towels one evening. The restaurants were by reservation. No water in the rooms, only 3.00 bottles in the gift shop. The pool was nice but really crowded and my son from. The boardwalk inn could not go there with us. The express check in is nice but no one to tell us where everything was. The beds were comfortable but I had a view of a peaked roof. I was not impressed and would not stay here again.
Although we had stayed here before, we decided to stay here again because we were planning to spend most of our time at the festival. It was a great decision! We were literally 1200 steps from the back gate of Epcot! The staff is friendly and attentive, there is ample self parking, and the proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios can't be beat. Also, is located on the road between the Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. Magic Kingdom is just a few miles up the highway. We had a king room - one bed and one sofa on the first floor with a nice view of a garden courtyard and steps to the quieter, 24 hour pool and the ice machine. Great for escaping back to in the heat of the day, then back in to the park when the temps start to cool....
We stayed at the Beach club resort for 14 nights on our recent Walt Disney World holiday. we chose this resort mainly for the location as it's a 5 minute walk to EPCOT and a 20 minute walk or 10 minute boat ride to Hollywood studios.we certainly weren't disappointed!! this hotel is beautiful and set in the absolutely stunning and brilliant location and I fell in love with the resort. The room we were given was on the second floor and was spacious for 3 adults with plenty of storage space for the two weeks. we were welcomed on reception by Jim who had personally allocated our room, and he did an amazing job! we were so pleased with our large balcony (where we spent most evenings) and the pull out bed for the third adult so we didn't have to share beds.Though I must say the only thing that does need to be improved is the comfort of the sofa bed, because it was rock hard and both of my friends who took turns to sleep on it said it was too uncomfortable to sleep properly which was a shame. The room was clean and fresh and well appointed, and I loved the new beachy decor which is a vast departure from the beach clubs old look of heavy dark wooded headboards. the bathroom and vanity area was beautiful and in all honesty I can say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, in general not just in Disney. it really did become home and we loved it.The cast members in this hotel are amazing though! I want to give a shout out to my 2 absolute favorites - Brandon from bell hops/valet who was so lovely to speak to and Katy from the market place who helped us with our dining plan and made us lovely meals, they are both credits to the Beach club resort.whenever it rained the resort would put fresh towels in the entry way for you to help yourself to and dry off, which I thought was a lovely touch. we were here during hurricane Matthew and so were confined to the hotel for the day as all the parks were closed. I think the resort handled this so well with all the children! there were scavenger hunts, character meet and greets, movies and little parties in the lobby.and though we ourselves don't have children I thought it was so well organized and maintained for the younger guests (unlike Universals Hard rock hotel, which we had stayed at for one night when the hurricane hit) so well done to the resort cast members.on still nights you can sit out on the swing seats on the beach and watch illuminations high in the sky, which is my kind of heaven.the pool stormalong bay is really relaxing and worth a visit if you stay here thanks to the lazy river and the sand bottom pool.I honestly cannot rave about this hotel enough! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to be back here at my now favorite resort in the future.
