Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is an equestrian-themed, Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Villa Resort on the shores of Lake Buena Vista. Stroll among green rolling hills and discover gurgling fountains and placid lakes. The Resort includes the Treehouse Villas, which allow up to 9 guests to sleep high up amongst the lush forest leaves.

Better than home!

First time taking advantage of our Disney Vacation Club membership, and we are VERY impressed! Without exception the cast members have given outstanding customer service. The resort is lovely and our room is lush and comfy. I love the balcony! We brought coffee and filters with us so coffee on the balcony to welcome the sunrise is great. Only issue, disney buses when and where they stop for travel within Saratoga Springs complex is a little murky. But now we just get on one to a park and go instead of trying figure it out.

Fun and Convenient Hotel

This hotel is very nice for families. They have activities throughout the day for kids. And even movie by the pool at night. I didn't participate in any of these activities, I just saw that they had them, and seemed nice. Their shuttles to the parks is frequent and convenient. You can even buy a park pass at the hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean. It had two bedrooms, a nice living/dining area, and kitchen. It's definitely a nice place but for the price, I wouldn't say it was worth it. There's some charm, like visiting your grandparents, but no wow. If you are willing to spend money on this place, I'd consider checking out the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I haven't stayed there yet but they have giraffes!

We keep coming back.

We did get DVC points here although we do say at other hotels at WDW as well. Location is important to us -- we want to be near something good -- MK, DS, Epcot. When it first opened (Congress Park) they still had fireworks at pleasure island. A mixed blessing, woke up the kids but fun to watch. But could enjoy the Adventurers Club and the Comedy Club. Fast forward, the kids are over 21 so the new Disney Springs area with bars etc can be enjoyed by all so less likely to stay at the Boardwalk or a monorail resort. Saratoga Springs is sprawling so choose well if you request a building. Rooms a large, kitchenettes are more than adequate. Always good housekeeping. Pools are great whichever one you choose to visit.

Large sprawling resort but well planned

Overall this is a wonderful resort especially if you enjoy walking. It's conveniently located within easy walking distance to Disney springs. Rooms are very quiet and most face green space and have large balconies. There are a few little things not up to Disney expectations. The bathroom fan is motion activated but doesn't stay on long enough for a shower. There is no wifi at the Grandstand pool. Lots of trouble not being able to access our rooms with the magic bands. Most staff members were outstanding but not all. Bus service is slow because it takes 15 minutes to drop off and pick up within the resort alone. Food selection is acceptable but could be improved. Signage around the resort could also be improved.

Disney Needs More oversite

My husband and I stayi The Paddock from 11/28 through 12/1. It was my first time in this section and I prefer it to The Springs where we usually stay. The Paddock was an easy walk to Disney Springs and to the Carriage house. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking a pond with fountain. Like other DVC properties this one is dated. The sofa in the main room is uncomfortable to sit on. Housekeeping before arrival was minimal. People were smoking on the grounds below our room and as you walked on the sidewalks. WDW has designated smoking areas but NO ONE discourages smoking in other areas.
