The 2 bedroom villa we stayed in (7110) was in the Carousel section of the resort. It was a ground floor unit across the street from the bus stop. Even though we were by the bus stop I did not hear the bus service at all. Very quiet room the master bedroom with a spa tub was wonderful after a long day in the parks. The full kitchen was great so we could have breakfast foods and snacks in the room.
This was my first time staying at a Disney property and the experience did not disappoint. Room was ready early, groceries were waiting for me, transportation was perfect. The resort itself is huge. Kids are welcome everywhere and castmembers are always there to give them stickers and greet them with big smiles. Stay in the grandstand (first stop for shuttles) or springs section to be close to main pool and restaurants. The room is great for families. I stayed in a 1 bedroom. The bathrooms could be better. There was mildew at the bottom of the shower doors. It was also quite dusty by the washer/dryer. I have little ones that crawl around, so I am always on the floor. There were also some bees by the outside soda refill stations at the Saratoga pool, so we could not use them. I give the resort 5+ for the experience and convenience and a 4 for the property.
Can't recommend this resort for any reason. If you want to stay on Disney property, select literally any other Deluxe resort. This one doesn't match up. Rooms are dated - to the point where they have those old safes that hold maybe one small laptop (vertical only!), designed probably for passports and travelers checks back in 1965. And they require a key! So, whereas you don't need a room key or cash or an ID thanks to your magic band, you have to drag this giant old safe key with you all day. And you certainly should! We tried stashing the key in a drawer. Was it a coincidence that our credit card (in the safe!) was used to buy $550 in shoes from Nike.com that very afternoon? Maybe. But don't leave your safe key in the room. Okay. So there is more to a resort than the safe. But here's the thing: everything at this resort is a giant, unnecessary hassle. They will ignore your room request and assign you somewhere at random; the complex is sprawling, which is great if you plan to train for a half marathon, but not if you're really just there to enjoy a theme park vacation; the buses run frequently but it takes *easily* 45 mins to an hour door to door from your room to any theme park; the restauraunt is okay but is arranged in such a way that there seem to be no lines, but just a lot of random jostling around to order food and pay for things; and even though they have coffee machines in the rooms (yay!) they don't replace coffee you used at all - and only give you enough for brewing it twice. If you're on a three day trip, you are out of luck, my friend. And - don't bother trying to read a hotel map. The signage is awful throughout the entire property. The maps are beautiful! Very artistic! You will have absolutely no idea where you are or how to get where you want to go. And definitely not at night. This place is nice enough, but all of these small problems will add up. Trust me. The other Deluxe resort properties manage to get things right that Saratoga gets wrong. Go there instead. Stay away from here. And lock up your stuff.
We are regulars here and we are always lucky with room location. This time we have a studio which is fine and has all you need with a small fridge, toaster and coffee machine, plus ample room and a small balcony. In room wi-fi works well and the pool area is so clean and well kept. The big plus is the location and access to Disney Springs, plus the view if you're on the lakeside. As a DVC member this is our preferred resort and they keep the place looking great.
This is the second time we have stayed at this resort in Disney. When you go, request the Grand Stand as a it is the first station on the bus route back and from to the Parks. It is walking distance from the pool, the reception, the baot transportation to DIsney springs so we loved it specially the days we wanted to benefit from early opening of the parks. Also the staff is extremely helpful and cordial no matter what you bring to your attention.... Artists Pallet is a good place for a quick lunch or snack.
