Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld
- What's Included
Overview28-acre resort with health spa located next to SeaWorld and 3 blocks from the Convention Center.
We stayed at the venue for a week as it was located within walking distance of the OCCC where we were attending a conference. The room was good and clean but very noisy. The noise was from road works on the eastern side of the hotel which was not the hotels fault. The breakfast was average for the price charged. All staff were great.
this is our second stay at this Doubletree. Previously we stayed in the tower which if I recall the room was a bit nicer in the tower. This time we stayed in building 5 which is quite a walk from the lobby, but it is a pretty walk past the pools and recreational area. This room was a basic hotel room, updated and clean. Noise level was fine as we were facing the parking lot not the pool. All rooms in this building had outside corridors.
I travel a lot for both business and pleasure. I knew the staff here was great the moment I called in to ask a couple of questions before my stay. Joa was so sweet and truly went out of her way to explain everything and make sure I was all settled for my trip. My stay was no different. Staff quickly accommodate me in a suite no less as soon as they realized that a customer who should have left never did (the room was going to be placed in). That was already above and beyond. Ps. the suite was BEAUTIFUL and soo spacious. But they didn't stop there. I then got a two coupons under my door, one for their delicious, broad selections continental breakfast and one for a drink in their bar. When I called the front to ask for a late exit, Joa recognized my voice and asked how I was doing and seamlessly accommodated me (so impressed). So amazed and so happy I chose to stay with them. They truly make their customers feel special and cared for. Congratulations to the whole team at doubletree by hilton orlando at SeaWorld, you now have a customer for life!
We stayed as a family 010117 for 2 nights. Very nice hotel. Check in was quick the reception area was great. The rooms were modern and clean. We stayed in the complex area and not the tower which we were glad about. Room was very near the pools. Only thing is that it is in the middle of renovation and expensive resort fee. But we will be back next year.
This is a nice property. It is pretty central to the parks and local attractions. The pools are nice, restaurant and breakfast buffet are great. They also have a starbucks that sells pizza, which is convenient for a quick meal, and its reasonably priced. I was upgraded to a mini suite, which was nice of the hotel, but my biggest complaint is it has no fridge. A lot of the non upgrade rooms seem to have them, so why wouldn't the suites? The rooms in the tower are a bit dated, but still comfortable. The staff in the meeting rooms are attentive and helpful. I would stay here again, and hold my business meetings here as well.
