Wouldn't stay again

I will say that the pool area, access to beach, and the restaurant Mambos on property is nice but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The bathroom looked original to the resort, the shower couldn't hold hot water to save your life and the vent in the bathroom didn't work so outside air was just coming on in. There was a gap under the room door that also let in plenty of outside air so needless to say our a/c was on 60 degrees full blast and the room was still warm. Housekeeping came by 1 time during our 4 day/3 night stay so our room was a little sandy. Also the "free wifi" was spotty and would drop every few minutes.

Overnight stay

This is an older resort and it shows. There is a lot of upkeep that isn't being done. However, the room we were in was clean, we felt safe, and everything worked. The floors are wood laminate, and I like that because hotel carpet is just gross. The outlets need to be replaced bevause they are loose. There is a bar and restaurant on premises, we didn't go, but it was busy while we were there. There were a lot of younger adults at the resort that just hung out in the parking lot. That was a little weird and uncomfortable, but aside from that it was quiet, and I didn't have issues with parking. There are baby gators kept in the lobby, and the gift shop lady was really sweet. We got back to the hotel at 1am because we had done a nighttime kayaking trip, and there were two hotel attendants on a golf cart riding around the parking lots. I thought that was good since it gave a feeling of security monitoring any possible issues that early morning hours and a bar could produce.

Spend your money elsewhere!!!

I'm not going to lie. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It's dirty & outdated. When we walked in we could tell housekeeping didn't even sweep the floors because there was sand all over it. They don't even leave brooms in the units for us to sweep it ourselves. Also there are no microwaves. I called down to the front desk and NO ONE answered. I called like 3x. On top of all of that, we ordered food from the downstairs bar/restaurant, Mambo's, as a to go order but it was completely cold! My husband and I are only here a couple nights thankfully so we will deal with it but We will never do this again. If we could give this place -stars, we would. Best advice: spend $$ and get something nicer on Cocoa Beach as the area is great - this hotel sucks unfortunately.

Pirate Festival Weekend open to public inside resort!

We happened here during a festival for pirates that was open to the public. Parking was a mess. We had to park in the front of the lobby area and dared not move our car almost to the back area of the resort because we never saw an empty spot until after 8pm. With that being said, it was very interesting to see the pirates interact with the resort population. They allowed a pirate to come and get the kids to interact with a balloon water fight and the kids loved it. There was also a mermaid who came and swam in the kids section and I have to say we all enjoyed seeing this through the children's eyes. We arrived around noon and the front desk offered to allow us to check in early for a 30 dollar fee. We told them we would come back later in the afternoon to claim our room. Our room had a small coffee maker, an iron and a hair dryer. We have been here once before and choose this location to entertain our 4 year old grandson. Many of the ice makers were not running. We finally found one to use. You may want to ask where the working locations are in advance if that is important to you. They had live music at Mambos in the afternoon this weekend and in the evening. Not a fancy place but a family place!
