So sad. Complete false advertisement of the property on the website. We stayed 3 hours and had to leave. I was afraid we would catch a disease from the room, and the pool...don't wear goggles! Smelled of stale smoke, bathroom door coming off the hinges, bed dipped in the middle, drunk and beligerant people in the pool. Hotel staff were friendly and short walk to the beach which was great.

Don't waste your money

The only redeeming quality at the hotel is the kids pool. You can allow your children to play in the kids pool while you get to sit back and relax a little. The rooms are nasty, smell bad, and we were afraid to sit on the couch because it's so dirty. You're lucky if the toilet flushes every other time in your room. Mambos is cool for the scenery and drinks but the food is horrible. I heard that there were in the process of remodeling but we definitely didn't get a remodeled room. They have a lot to do to get the hotel up to par. We will not be staying at the hotel again.

July beach get away.

Booked this room online and got such good rate we were scared of what we were walking into. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and nice, overlooking the pool. Beachfront hotel with restaurant and bar on the beach. Regae band playing on weekends. Large pool and large water playground for kids. We were very happy with our stay.

Great stay-Great location-Great price

Yes, this place probably isn't what it was in its heyday. No, it's not as luxurious as the pictures make it look. However, if you want bang for your buck and don't require absolute luxury, this place works. Even after reading the most recent reviews we booked a six night stay (Wed-Tue) due to the fact that it's right on the beach and had the pool area. Our room (302) was clean and everything worked. Maybe the door stuck a little and the bottom of the tub was worn, but the sheets were fresh and the A/C was blasting. It offered a great place to cool down in between beach time. From door to water was only a 5 minute walk. There are showers right off the beach to rinse off as well; all of them worked fine. (Side note: There is a public park adjoining the property. So the section of beach right out front of the hotel has lifeguards watching over it; if that makes you feel better.) As for the pool area, it was clean with plenty of space, chairs, and pool towels. There's a bunch of staff crawling over the property, seemingly taking great care of the place. We did not eat at the breakfast spot or Mambos, but there was always a crowd, so I imagine its alright. It did get a little crowded over the weekend; prob from Florida locals on weekend trips. Otherwise, there was plenty of parking. To those concerned it's not 'up to date' enough, there were large containers/dumpsters with old/new beds/furniture/mattress's/etc with workers swapping the rooms out. So maybe, ask for one of those rooms?

Will be fantastic

Stayed late June as a last resort with my girlfriend, (other hotel screwed me over). Awesome desk lady, think she was a assistant manager. Told her my situation and even though the room type i needed wasn't available she went out of her way and got me the room. We were on the southwest complex (The layout is rather strange) close to another motel which probably should be bought out by the palms. The room was somewhat basic however the kitchenette had all new appliances and had everything we needed. Stayed for almost a week and enjoyed being right on the beach. Granted this is during summer and a ton of families were out and about, the location was great. This was also during "pirate fest" some type of courtyard event. (never went but looked fun). Kept the do not disturb sign on, as we don't like housekeeping so no comment on that, however the room was clean when we checked in.Overall very satisfied with stay, had no issues and room was great.Thank you for keeping my vacation alive.
