Nickelodeon Suites Resort
- What's Included
We evacuated from Miami due to Hurricane Irma. I called the hotel directly to see if they could accommodate us since most hotels did not have availability. The person I spoke to told me they had a room that would accommodate our party for $136 and for $10 more they would include breakfast for all. I was so appreciative and was looking forward to a good night's sleep after days of hurricane preparation. When we arrived at midnight I was told that the price was $199 and it only included 2 breakfast coupons. This is the ultimate bait and switch. The manager was hiding in the back and would not even come out to talk to me. I was charged a resort fee and other fees that were never disclosed to me. The resort fee should have been waived since The waterpark and other activities were closed on Sunday because they too were preparing for the hurricane. At this point I had no choice but to stay given I was with three very tired children. They took advantage of a bad situation. My room wasn't even set up. A garbage bag containing toiletries, towels and sheets was set on the floor. Needless to say I will NEVER stay here again and I will write a negative review in every forum I can find. I only wish I knew the name of the coward manager that wouldn't come out to talk to me. This is not representative of every Holiday Inn. We left the next day to the Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Pearce. They deserve 10 stars. The owner of the hotel as well as all the employees went above and beyond to make sure their guest were comfortable. The Holiday Inn Waterpark is a disgrace!
we went to Orlando for family vacation for the first time we're loved the resort the staff great service great activities we were come back if we have a chance go Holiday Inn Resort. If you do have it room make sure your room facing the pool change your the waterpark a lot of activities
Our 2nd visit to this resort within one year. This is our favorite family resort in the Orlando area. We enjoy this place more than Disney's budget resorts. The rooms are very well designed and comfortable. Fridge and microwave + 3 TVs. USB plugs for your devices. During our 2nd visit, we saw the same staff members. That usually means employees are happy, which results in a good experience for the guests. 2 adults, 2 children. The 4D theater and Batman Laser challenge are a big hit with us and worth the cost. The kids club now costs extra (no parents allowed) so we skipped it, but it's nice that they offer babysitting services to parents. Decor is pleasurable. 2 pool areas. Plenty of food options on-site. This is a great option for large family groups. If you don't have a vehicle, this location offers shuttles to/from Disney World. As for groceries, shopping, etc, you will need to hire a driver although they do have a little market on site. For our family, this place serves all our needs, but it may not be for everyone. The staff remembered our son, but mostly because he cannot get enough of the Batman laser challenge and can spend the entire day doing it. Very Very nice staff to accommodate us. We stayed 4 nights this time. We will be back.
Clean, comfortable beds and awesome staff! Grounds are well groomed, lots of parking. Lots of crews here after hurricane Irma to help FL. staff was very accommodating. Only drawback is the food...not so great.
Had a great time here. I wanted to visit because of its history as Nickelodeon and was not disappointed. We really loved our visit to the restaurant. The waiter and chef were both very friendly and took our allergens into consideration while cooking.Getting our keys after checking in took a while. There were multiple lines and it was confusing. The hotel was busy when we arrived, but it was dead after Labor Day.
