Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld
- What's Included
I stayed at Residence Inn SeaWorld for two nights in March,2017. Ms. Sandra Agosto (Manager) resolved my issue about a refrigerator thatmade a noise. She was very kind and quickly resolved the issue. I hada feeling that she is one of the best managers who make an effort toenhance the reputation of Marriott. I will stay in the hotel again ifI have a chance to visit Orlando.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite and it was very nice. It had a spacious living room and the rooms were spacious as well. The free breakfast was one of the best I've ever encountered while traveling. It was a full hot buffet that included eggs, fresh waffles, sausage, pancakes, yogurts, fruits and more. They offered delicious coffee, tea and even fountain sodas which was a great bonus! The pool was very nice and relaxing, and perfect for families. They have a pool bar and grill that is open late. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here again on our next trip to Orlando!
We had a wonderful week at this hotel. Our family of six stayed in a suite with two comfy queen beds and a sofa bed, which fit us perfectly. The pool/spa area is awesome, it was cool out so not many swimming but we enjoyed it! The room was clean and the full kitchen was so convenient since we prepared and took our lunch/snacks to Disney. The best part of this hotel was the breakfast bar. Every morning we enjoyed delicious scrambled eggs with sautéed peppers/onions and other toppings, sausage or bacon, cereal/milk, fruits and yogurts, and oatmeal with a huge assortment of toppings plus juices and coffees. We're gonna miss that breakfast! This is a great place to stay for families - in a nice area off I-4 right next to Sea World and only five minutes from the Disney parks!
We had a great stay here during Spring Break. We arrived far before check-in time due to travel. Our room was not ready so one of us stayed back while the rest went to Disney. They had a secure, locked closet area to store our luggage until our return. Because the staff felt bad watching someone wait so long for our room, they upgraded us to a suite free of charge. Wow! We had a kitchen area with full-size fridge, dishwasher, living area, and bedroom. Room was "homey" with classic furnishings. Comfy beds and great A/C unit. Outdoor area was excellent. There is a bar with lunch and dinner items, outdoor grilling areas with tables, basketball court, and a very nice HEATED pool and spa area. Spa is hot and clean! Landscape is fresh and well-kept with palm trees and shrubs. Towels available and sturdy pool chairs. Bose speakers scattered about played a variety of contemporary music. Hot breakfast was decent. Not as many options as I've had at other places, but the basics. Nothing special. Hotel layout is odd. A little "maze-like" in design. Ended up going up the wrong side of the building at one point and had to go all the way down stairs to get to the other side. Elevators are quite far from the main entry, and finding the parking lot from our room was a challenge. We adjusted by day 2, but design is not intuitive. Our room was "cleaned" during the day, but the only changes we noticed were new toiletry items and towels. We had made beds ourselves and floor was not vacuumed. Not sure if this is normal.Shuttles available from sea world and Disney were helpful. Residence is centrally located near local restaurants and shopping areas. Would stay again.
Booked a two bedroom suite for five nights. It was clean, spacious and contained fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and dishes. One bedroom had a single bed along with a bathroom while the other bedroom had double beds only. The second bathroom was near the kitchen and living room area. Housekeeping came almost daily to wash dishes and clean the room. Breakfast was fair to fine. Based on the time of the stay it was quite crowded. It was quite disappointing to note that the tables weren't quickly cleaned as soon as one group of guests left. So each day, the tables were dirty. The hotel allows free shuttles to all the nearby theme parks (we only went to Seaworld and Disney World on this trip). Customer service was good, no complaints there and the environment was kid-friendly and we felt comfortable.
