Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando
- What's Included
I stay in this hotel for 8 days with my family for a trip to the Orlando parks. This hotel has a free transportation to Universal Studios and is near restaurants and shops. All the surroundings of the hotel are clean, organized and well maintained gardens, The rooms fully equipped, very clean and comfortable. The staff are vere attentive. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant very delicious I would definitely stay again in this hotel and would recommend it
We stayed here from 7th-21st November and had an amazing time. The hotel is in a brilliant location, Millers Ale House, Walgreens and Pointe Orlando shopping centre right across the road and an iride trolley stop right outside. The hotel pool and surrounding areas were kept clean and towels from the pool hut were plentiful. The onsite shop was well stocked, a bit pricier than say Walmart but not overly expensive. The bar area was reasonably priced and the hot food there was delicious. We tried the breakfast in the hotel once but didn't think it was great value as I'm not a big eater in the mornings so $12 for a couple of slices of toast and bacon wasn't worth it, however it's a buffet and if you're a big eater I'm sure you would get your moneys worth. I think it would be good to incorporate a set menu where you pay for individual items say a bagel and a coffee. I know you can get these from light bites but you can't sit with the rest of your party who may be having the buffet. The rooms were spacious, clean and the air conditioning worked well. The only negative was that the coffee supplies i.e cups, sugar etc weren't regularly refilled and we had to ask for these. All staff members were very friendly and helpful and you can tell that they worked hard. There was always someone cutting the grass or sweeping up etc. This was our second time staying on Idrive I much preferred this hotel to the last one we stayed in which was a lot more expansive. The hotel has a real homely feel to it and I liked this. Would have no hesitations in booking this hotel again and hopefully we will be back soon.
I am here for a conference that happens to be on a long weekend, so Orlando is pretty much sold out of hotel rooms. I thought I was pretty lucky to find this place, which is walking distance from the convention center at a USG per diem rate. But it is awful, like a run down motel. The first room I checked into was generally dingy, with aging fixtures and a colony of bugs that scurried along the cracks when I switched on the lights in the bathroom. Disgusting. I called the front desk and they gave me a room one floor higher that looks exactly the same as the first room except that it's facing a ten-lane highway with traffic noise all night. No bugs so far, but I am now scared to walk barefoot and feel like there are probably bugs just waiting to come creeping out from behind the furniture. This is going to be a long week. 🙁
Just returned from a 9 day golf outing to Fla. We stayed at the Rosen Inn @ Pointe Orlando. The rooms were very clean, several pools, and one great feature is a set of sliding doors to the sink or bathroom. If someone is up early they simply close the sliders and the rest of the room keeps quiet and dark and the other has their privacy. On the property they have breakfast buffet, very standard but nice because the fast turnover keeps thing fresh and hot. also in the lobby is a small store that has coffee, muffins, juice, ect. Beer, soda, and snacks also. There is also an in house bar right off the lobby, very convenient, a little too muck karaoke for me but other than that good. All the chain restaurants are right on the strip and if you want a little nicer Capital Grille, Margiano's, ect, are right across the street. For the money it's a great spot.
The hotel was very big and the rooms were well maintained. It was in walking distance to some family friendly activities. We got our stay for almost free because we were on a vacation promo package but I would pay to stay here again.
