Rosen Shingle Creek
- What's Included
great value. very comfortable. a bargain for size of room and amenities offered. we would definetely stay there again. we did not use valet parking because we were on and off the grounds several times a day and found the parking lot inconvenient but that's expected at a large convention hotel. pool area very nice. spa facility good, not great
We stay at Rosen Shingle Creek about 2 -3 times a year. Very nice rooms and all the staff are great!! My husband plays golf and I go to the spa. Sometime we don't leave the grounds the whole weekend. They have everything on the property.
Just a fabulous hotel ! Great check-in (greeter, efficient, polite). I received a corner room on the 5th floor with the king bed. Room was huge. Shortly after arriving in room a hotel employee arrived to check if everything was satisfactory. Everything was clean, orderly, and well maintained. A nice little touch was the nightly turn down service of the bedding and chocolates. Daily housekeeping was consistent and perfect.Hotel has significant space for meetings which was where most of my time was spent. Would certainly return for vacation time in the future.
Rooms are great, amenities are plentiful and the food options are terrific! Golf course is definitely a challenge but the conditions are awesome. Clubhouse, pool areas are all spotless and you never have to worry about getting a casual snack, coffee, grill, or formal restaurant its all right there
Recently stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek for a work conference. I only had approx 1 hour of personal time to enjoy the property upon arrival and ventured down to the pool area (there are 3 of them, one for adults and then two larger pools). I'm grateful to the guest who was exercising in the pool who took the time to explain how to open the pool gate as I had never encountered that type of latch system before. After location a nice sunny spot, stretched out on a lounge chair and ordered a frozen drink as per the hostess recommendation - it was delicious (Lemon Lime Aid). Dining, there are lots of options to choose from at the property: Italian, Mexican, Burgers, Sushi, Steak House, Monroe Market. I managed to eat at Tobias twice (burgers are awesome and the fries are good too, even seasoned). Mi Casa Tequila, impressed with the table side made guacamole. Land Remembered Steak House, crab cake was outstanding - no filler, lots of crab meat. Breakfast at Cafe Osceola, buffet was outstanding likely the best fried eggs I've had in a long time and the porridge was smooth & creamy. 18 Monroe Street Market, is a one stop shopping area on the property - you can purchase wine, snacks, essentials, or grab a sandwich from the grill. The sleeping room had all the required amenities. I called prior to traveling to inquire on the complimentary hair-dryer (ladies it's a small one ... so if you're fussy about your hair, pack your own dryer). Meeting rooms were abundant - it's a conference property without any doubt (while convention area is carpeted, suggest comfortable shoes for endurance/distance). I'm confident the property would also be able to accommodate a very intimate meeting function. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
