Not Worthy of Your Business

Worst two hours at a hotel in my business life.Check in for my king room on the 14th floor with access to VIP lounge. Told to take the set of elevators that they pointed to which didn't go to my floor. Once I figured out how to get to my room, I walk into my room which I found attractive. Unpacked...took off shoes and stepped into a huge soaking wet area of the carpet. Call maintenance. End up having to pack and move to a queen room NOT on the VIP lounge floor where the rest of my committee will be. Process took way too long. Finally in new room at 11 (after the bellman accidentally dumped out all of my belongings into the hallway). Ironically I'm here for a conference planning meeting or I'd leave. Just completely underwhelmed! Not a convention hotel I'll look forward to staying at.

Returned for another conference, still a wonderful property

We were here for a conference of almost 500 people. This property easily held such a group, in fact, I think they can take much larger ones. There was another conference, larger than ours, going on at the same time without a problem. The property is very large, with an adjacent conference center. There is a wonderful golf course, a beautiful pool area, and many dining venues. We were on the 11th floor, overlooking the golf course, and sat each night mesmerized as the sun went down over the golf course and the view of Orlando downtown. There are two banks of elevators, one for floors one to ten, another for eleven to fourteen, a great idea, speeds things up when a lot of folks are moving around. We enjoyed the pool, Cattails Bar and Grill, and, of course, the conference venues. Had a great trip.

Bring your hiking shoes

This hotel is for Convention/business only, IMO. There are better recreational choices. Pros: Immaculate, very well trained and friendly staff. Food presentation is attractive. Nice bedding and amenities. Cons: be prepared to walk walk walk to get to meetings or your room If you have the slightest mobility issue ask for handicapped room. They need at least grab bars in the tubs. I had a banquet meal (attractive but the very definition of rubber chicken), very expensive glass of wine and breakfast which looked a lot better than it tasted. Bring your own bottled water or pay for drinking water on site. The water tastes like chlorine....not uncommon in Orlando. There was a screaming child about 10 rooms down that sounded close enough to be in our room. This last one may not matter to you: I love grand old hotels with Spanish decor like the Biltmore in Coral Gables. The decor here was an ugly imitation.

Florida holiday

Excellent hotel, went over and above to make my disabled daughters and my holiday a wonderful experience . Special thanks to all of the staff, especially Charlton and Tim. Will definitely be booking to stay again.

This was truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. The room decor was spacious and beautiful. It was like a home away from home. This was the largest place I've ever been in and every square inch was immaculately clean. The staff was plentiful. Never a wait. Staff was always there to help. The food was very good on premises. We never felt a need to eat out. And we did not.I was with a large group. My husband fraternity. No less then 3000 people and again I have no complaints about the service management for that many people.
