Over night surpise get away

this was so beautiful. rooms were clean and stunning furniture, I have never been able to stay at a luxurious hotel before this was amazing. this hotel have 1500 room, staff was wonderful. Andrew the bar tender was the nicest, help full and very knowledgeable about the property. they have a lot of restaurant choices, but need to have one that is a little more affordable, but the food we did have was delicious. I have a few negatives, only 6 elevator to get to our room, it was rough when the conference's let out, had to wait 10-15 mins for an elevator no direct stairs to our floor. charging for self parking is ridiculous. we had stairs at the end of our hall which said exit, 5 flights down only emergency door.

Excellent resort for conferences!

Nice and clean room, polite staff and all amenities. In close proximity to both theme parks and shopping. Extra credit to Ricardo in the package room, who provided excellent service even after I checked out!

Beautiful venue for Agile2017 conference

The staff was very helpful and once I figured out where the self-parking was, everything was fine. Everything was executed professionally and as expected. I would recommend the Rosen Shingle Creek a spacious and beautiful venue.

Comfortable rooms, great food options, excellent service

We really enjoyed our stay at Rosen Shingle Creek. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. This hotel is amazingly large. I really enjoyed walking around, and my husband had a great conference in the huge convention area of the property. I had a great manicure at the Spa. Make sure you schedule a service at least one day in advance because they can get busy. They always have taxis outside so you can catch a ride to a nearby attraction. I would not recommend the shuttle service because it is a third party offering and we had a rough experience while waiting in the heat for a shuttle that never picked us up. However, the hotel manager, Bojan, was very accommodating and more than made up for this problem. Please consider going to Cafe Osceola. Jade, a head chef, was wonderful and accommodating. I have a food allergy, and she prepared a dish just for me. Diego, our waiter, was friendly and helpful. I appreciate the variety that this buffet offers. I went for lunch and dinner and would have gone here for every meal during my trip if I did not have other plans. 5 Stars!

Beautiful resort, wonderful, friendly staff!

I went for a conference there. The long driveway confusing as where to just to unload my vehicle and check in. When I reached the front entrance, the valet & bell staff were helpful, kind & patient despite being very busy. I walked into the hotel doors, The front desk is kind of hidden over to the left side. Staff was friendly, professional & quick. When I got to my room, it was very clean, spacious & comfortable. Drawback, with only 1 location for the ice/vending machines, you had to walk a LONG way if located at the other end like I was. After travelling, I wanted to take a shower before my meeting and come to find, there was no hair dryer in the room. I looked and looked. To be fair to the staff, I didn't call down to ask for one to be brought up but I found it strange no hair dryer was in the bathroom or closet. What I found most pleasant is to find a mini fridge in the room as this is really helpful to store cold drinks so this did outweigh the inconvenience of walking down the other end of this huge hotel, to the ice/vending machines. As I was attending a conference, I was thoroughly annoyed with the wait staff who were very efficient in picking up dirty dishes but did so by interrupting conversations without even saying "excuse me." This is a simple task and I do understand they staff needed to get their jobs done but they didn't have to interrupt as they did. I found this rude personally. At one point, I turned my head to talk with my companion and almost bumped my nose into the staff's reaching arm. Also the wait staff was always in such a hurry to clean up, to the point of cleaning up before our allotted time for meals and breaks. I also took a break from eating and as soon as I put my fork down, someone snatched away my unfinished plate. It's not necessary to be THAT quick. I also at one point asked for a soda because there didn't seem to be any during lunch but was told "we're out of soda" which is obviously ridiculous. This staff for the most part did not impart a friendly vibe, did not smile and made me feel wrong for even asking for such a favor. I have been to a lot of conferences where 1) never had a problem getting a soda 2) never had the wait staff take away food by interrupting conversations 3) be in such a hurry to clear tables and food (at one point, they cleared away the food buffet before the time allotted for lunch was complete. Every time I was around this group of people, I felt I was being rushed and to get out of their way. Did not make meals and conversation pleasant.I would have given my review a 5 star but cannot do so because of the ballroom wait staff. They need training in how to be polite, more patient and ready to accommodate conference times rather than their own times.
