Tuscana World Hotel Resort
- What's Included
The best place near Orlando. This is our 6th time with my family. We always leave the resort thinking on the next time that we will come back. We really feel at home when we stay at Tuscana. When the resort was acquired by Aston we were worry about changes, but the place make lot of upgrades in many aspects: TVs, WiFi (a special mention here), Swimming pool, gate entrance. They still have to make some improvements and updates in kitchen elements, but nothing of greater importance. The same for towels. But I strongly suggest families from every part of the word to stay at Tuscana.
We stayed May/June 2017. Room was more than big enough for ourselves and our 8 year old son. Two double beds in the room. Room fitted out with washer, dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave etc. Fairly convenient for Disney, about 15 minutes drive. That however depends on I-4 which some days had horrendous queues. Small pool but OK for a splash. On site restaurant was OK. Only downside was being charged $39 for breakage insurance for the two weeks. There was no takeover/handover procedure so who determines if anything broken during your stay?
Just returned from 14 days at Tuscana and had a superb time. The pool/bar area is really good with cheap drinks and excellent food. It's good if you like sports and I watched the champions league final there. The girls behind the bar were great.Only small gripe was the room which could do with an upgrade. Certainly didn't spoil our time in Florida though.
We stayed here for 12 nights. The condo was extremely spacious with 2 bedrooms, dining and sitting room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with all the necessary appliances. A washer and dryer, iron and board and a vacuum. It was perfect for us, it was like a home away home. We were just a short walk from the pool and bar area. There was music in the poolside bar every night which was great. There is a Walgreens and Publix grocery store very close to it. It is situated just off the I 4 interstate so ideal for touring the area. Everywhere is less than 30 minutes drive away as in all the theme parks, (rush hour takes longer so avoid rush times) I would highly recommend this place if planning to Orlando. We would definitely come back here if in Orlando again.
We stayed in Room 3206 on the first floor - nice big bedrooms, walk in wardrobes were large, bathrooms were clean and of a good standard. All kitchen equipment, iron, dryer etc worked fine - nothing to fault! Air conditioning was a god send and the balcony was well screened. Pool was beautifully clean and heated, clean spare towels available, always found a free cabana & bar snacks were well priced & tasty - try the chilli nachos - yummy! The whole resort we found was clean & tidy, very well maintained, certainly lived up to the pictures in the brochures which makes a nice change! IF you want to be picky - then yes you can hear people tramping about above you, the air conditioning units are noisy at night, bathroom drains a bit shifty when you had shower (?!) and there was a $5 charge for pool wristbands BUT crikey it wasn't disruptive & worth it for the pool standards to be honest!!Locally at Championsgate you've got a 7/11 for petrol, Publix, Subway, really nice Italian - well worth a visit, Dunkin Donuts, fab Millers Ale House, Wendy's & Red Robin. 10 min drive from Disney etc and easy access to the motorway ( which we didn't hear from our room btw!) . First time but probably not the last time - well done Tuscana :)
