Tuscana World Hotel Resort
- What's Included
stayed there for 11 nights in early October and it was great, service was all we hoped for and no issues at all. We used the pool area on many occasions and for a family of 6 this was a very nice place to stay, short drive to all the major parks and easy access to the highways. Thanks for everything :)
Just got back today from another lovely 2 week holiday at the Tuscana Resort & the only thing I could fault was that the very good Tuscana Tavern was closed for 2 days for redecorating, so my afternoon beverage & great food from the bar had to go a Miss for a few days, lol.Seriously the place was terrific, the staff were very welcoming & helpful on checking in & out.The condo 3202 was immaculate & full of upgrades. We couldn't fault our stay & have already rebooked for next march, can't wait.
We visited the Tuscana resort as a family of four - 2 adults, a four year old and a 1 year old. The large apartments allowed the children to run around and play as if they were at home and without the constraints of only being in a hotel room. The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals and the in room laundry facilities were a great added bonus. We loved the pool area and BBQ area and found the place to be clean and well maintained. If you are travelling by car, it's the perfect base to explore Orlando and beyond. Be careful if using a debit card against your apartment as there is an extra fee of $40 - something that isn't communicated by the tour operator.
This resort has so much potential. We did our homework and with written guidelines on extra charges from our travel agent and hotel email we booked in travelling from England. The desk clerk was very efficient, was adamant a few extras were payable and our evidence to contrary was incorrect. We had to agree to the charges or he wouldn’t check us in.After 3 days of emails with agent and management the resort finally agreed that no charges applied. Our first room was mainly modernised, clean and well appointed on top floor, in a pleasant and quiet area of resort. We got to know the excellent and efficient maintenance team over next few days as the usual areas needed attention ie air con, plumbing, iron and door lock were not 100%Our second room was not up to the standard of first room. Paintwork needed attention, carpets and furniture were well used and ceiling fans were very dirty. Plumbing under sink was broken. Most would have been repaired if we reported them, but we decided against it after our first weeks experiences.I consider some rooms are used more than others and the resort relies on guests finding out what needs attention and repair. The location is excellent for access to shops, bars and roads. The wooded area is alive with birds and wildlife. As we regard the resort our home for 2 weeks, and hoped to visit the area again, we left disappointed overall. Its potential was underwhelming.
Just back from a 2 week stay at Tuscana resort and can honestly say we were very impressed with all it had to offer. I requested a top floor condo as has read reviews regarding noise, and were placed in building 3. We found it very quiet and our accommodation was more than adequate for 5 of us. We ate in the restaurant twice, it was lovely food and huge portions definitely no starters needed. All the staff we meet were very helpful and we are looking forward to returning in 2 years.
