Double Check your Folio at checkout

I was happy with the hotel but after receiving my folio via email I found I was charged $30. plus tax per day for parking overnight-valet. The problem is I used Uber and did not park a car. I emailed but have received no reply and when calling you can not get to a person who handles billing. Make sure to check your bill before you leave the hotel so you don't overpay .

Fantastic Hotel

This is a remarkable hotel from the moment you get on the property. The front desk staff are on the ball and will answer any inquiries you might have. The rooms are excellent clean and spotless. There is not a single detail the is overlooked by the housekeeping staff. As to the property restaurants they are all great, the fountain great for ice creams, the Fresh great for breakfast and lunches, the pikabo they have great burritos. Can't wait to come again.

Mixed feelings. Poor customer service, more likely to "compensate for inconvenience" than actually solve issues.

We have stayed here several times over the past three years, and have tentative plans to return in March 2018 (due to Starwood and Marriott points, this place has been an easy choice for us)... however, due to past experiences, we may be changing this to another Marriott property near Disney instead. July 2015 when traveling with an infant, we had a literal debacle over a crib. We requested one, and after three attempts at getting it delivered it finally showed up at 11pm. Needless to say... not a convenient hour. The crib was metal, and baby's legs kept getting stuck, so we ultimately had to push one of the beds up against the wall and watch her sleep all night. She was only 5 months, so this was really not ideal. No one explained to us that we could rent pack and plays from other locations.... I was really underwhelmed with the lack of enthusiasm to help solve our dilemma.. Hotel is NOT cheap, and we weren't even there on points that time, so it was pretty disappointing. We were rewarded 5,000 points as a compensation for our "inconveniences".March 2016 we returned to this property due to a conference being in the area. We had ants in our room, which was on the 9th floor. Someone explain how ants get up that high... there were many of them. We asked to have our room changed and we were told it would happen as soon as possible, but we ultimately ended up missing our character dinner reservation in EPCOT because of this... and the front desk offered the "this is Florida, ants happen" excuse. Lived in FL for 4 years, and while they "happen", this isn't something to be expected at a hotel of this price! Fortunately Disney didn't charge me for missing the dinner reservation (because Disney is attentive to customer service - Dolphin, take note!). After over an hour and a half of waiting, we were moved to another room. No ants in this one. Called front desk because we were starving at this point and needed dinner, wanted to see our options... they did offer compensation for in-room dining. We have a reservation now for March 2018, and are worried, but hoping the third time is a charm and they can provide outstanding customer service this time. I've requested bedrails, and will be ordering a pack and play through a local rental service so as to avoid the crib "problem". Hopefully I can update with a happy review come March.

Poor customer service for a Gold member

We are Starwood Gold members and frequently stay at the Dolphin. We love the location, Camp Dolphin, main pool, Shula's, and Blue Zoo to name a few. The management and staff of these restaurants are amazing, especially Kathryn, Cassandra, and Bash as Shula's and Ulyana at Blue Zoo. Our most recent visit was last week post Hurricane Irma. We evacuated to Orlando due to no power. We checked into the Dolphin on Tuesday Sept 12. The 1st room we were given had no air conditioning and no furniture on the balcony. We called and requested to be moved. The guest service rep refused to move us saying there was nothing wrong with the a/c and the furniture was removed due to the hurricane (perfectly acceptable reason but no offer to put it back.) The control pad for the a/c was not working, something we have never encountered at this hotel. We were told it was controlled at the front desk and to give it 20-25 minutes. The bellman was with us and finally spoke to them and convinced them to change our room as it was very hot. The 2nd room was in the middle of the nursing home evacuees. The supplies both clean and dirty were right outside our room as well as at the end of the hall. A large trash can was also there. Dirty blankets and other miscellaneous items were in the hall where the staff was sitting. The patients were mostly in the hall or in their rooms with the doors open and staff attending to them. I kindly explained to the front desk I greatly appreciated what they were doing by housing these folks but it was a very comfortable situation for us. They refused to move us and only offered an early departure. This was very disappointing being this is a hotel we stay at often and have never complained especially with all the renovations going on and testing of fire alarms over the summer. We overlook the inconveniences knowing when complete it will be a better place to stay. We have several upcoming stays booked this year but we are considering other options.

Super Fun Time!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was easy to bus to the Magic Kingdom and a boat ride away from Epcot. The resort had a lot of family fun activities to do from pools, restaurants, basketball courts, game games and out door movie time. Our rooms were nice and well kept and the resort grounds were exciting at every turn.

Vacations packages include round-trip flights, accommodations, round-trip transfers (unless outlined below) to and from the hotel, and tourist cards (if required, unless outlined below).

If selecting an all-inclusive resort option, the package will also include the all-inclusive features as outlined by each resort.
