Dirty!

I went to this resort and checked in on the 3rd of April. The front desk was good no problems with helping with the registration. I received my key card and paperwork. I drive to this unit. Which when I set it up I was expecting things that when I got there I didn't have. I loaded my thing on the cart and when up to the 5th floor OMG! Ok, so I stepped in this door which didn't lock from the outside to get to my room. I unlocked the door and stepped into this room I pushed my cart in and was fixing to take a bag off and notice that there was a nasty stain on the leather couch. It was like someone either just got up or had greasy food on the couch. Either way, it looked gross. Then I went to looking around this place, the dresser had food particles and dust on it. The small old refrigerator had black dirty along the edges and food particles. The floor was half swept. The sink was full of water and nasty spilled spots on the wall. The tub had nasty like black spots around the handle. The oh my God! there were bugs I killed two. The microwave was nasty and they only clean in front of the microwave not in it or under it. I was sick I took my cart and left out of that room. After that, I was very scared to go back into that nasty room. I called the front desk and told them about this room and my issues. It took almost 45 mins for someone came to move me to another room. After, I went to another side of the Resort. I notice something really different. This Resort has two different areas or section. One for people that look like me and then for people that don't look like me. Becuase when I went to the other side I didn't see anyone that did look like me. This area was much cleaner and it didn't look like an hourly motel. The other side looked just like an hourly motel. The tub was out next to the bed and on the other side the fricken kitchen or microwave, sink and old refrigerator. The other area was nicer and the appliance was clean and looked newer. After, that I was really done so I checked out the same day never unpacked anything. Becuase careful when you book. Ask to see your room first and see if it is clean and what you want. If not they will over charge you if you try to leave. Like they did me.

Nice Place

Nice place with lots of activities and a great spa. If you want it cheaper or to get a bunch of free stuff you can take one of the timeshare tours that the offer. If you don't want to stress yourself out with hard sales then avoid that ...regardless it is a pretty nice place with lots of facilities.

Trip with the kiddos

I am an "exchanger" and stayed at this property during Easter weekend. We stayed in the 2 BR villa (not remodeled). It was very spacious as there are 2 full beds in 1 bedroom, a king in the master and a queen sofa sleeper. This resort provides a shuttle to Disney, Universal and to the local mall. There is a Walmart about a mile away and UBER can get you there for about $8. The kids enjoyed the pool and game room and my husband enjoyed the DRAFT's bar & grill although it is VERY expensive. CONS there is no transportation from the airport to the hotel however if you call the hotel they have a contracted service who will come and get you for around $50. The internet is $9.99 a day or $29.99 for 5 days only 3 devices and for an ok signal. The breakfast they suggest to you is a timeshare pitch and the breakfast leaves wayyy left to the imagination. Fruit, cold jug eggs, 2 cereals, dry croissants and under cooked sausage. Our sales pitch was good and we did end up purchasing 6.5 hrs later!!! 90 mins is totally incorrect. Overall this is a prime location and your kids will enjoy themselves. Just say no to the "breakfast" if your not looking to buy and don't want to miss out on a full day of vacation.

Spacious, fun and I suspect cheap

My Granddaughter was going to a Cheer competition with assorted family members and the trip was extended to take in 5 days in Orlando. While I funded the trip I didn't actually book or pay so I am not sure what the cost was. However the place is massive, the rooms are really suites and are large, and built cheaply but to impress many years ago. So now they are somewhat run down being cheaply built. I was only there for one night, but the family had great fun, the pool was busy but safe, the attractions are nearby, its easy to find, its not somewhere I would want to spend much time - but it clearly has its place.
