WorldQuest Orlando Resort
- What's Included
I have very few negatives about WorldQuest Resort. We booked a 3 bedroom Superior and emailed ahead and requested we be situated on the top floor of one the buildings. We were located in building 7 on the complex opposite a lake and in relative peace, which it is. As someone in a previous review had indicated building 7 is quite away from the main hub of the complex, which it is, but for us that didn't prove to be an obstacle.WorldQuest is well situated for all of the attractions and a free shuttle service is provided to Magic Kingdom and you can arrange travel to the rest of the attractions at a price. My son tried this as he and his girlfriend went to Universal Islands of Adventure and we went to Discovery Cove, with the result being a call coming in asking me to collect from said theme park as he wanted to avoid having to wait to 7.45pm for the return, with an approx journey time of 1.5 hours - so be aware. The condo itself was spacious and as advertised and we were all pleased with the facilities. Again a quick note. There is an inventory list in the apartment, which details the pricing of items that go missing during you stay etc. Being British, we love our lists, we actually did a quick check of the items within the apartment and found many items missing, which i reported to reception the following morning, who assured me that they new that the condos had missing items and were grateful for the list that I had put together!!!! Its just something you should be aware of.We did request an apartment clean halfway through our stay, which included a change on linen etc. This didn't quite happen, but was straightened out fairly quickly with the hotel agreeing that we should not pay any charges. So only minor issues on the whole. Quality rooms, good polite and friendly service which starts with security when you drive up, however the word "resort" in this case is definitely used out of context. It has very few elements that can describe them as a resort. Yes it has a pool, and a small bar, the bar opens at 10/11 and closes by 9pm, it offers an extremely low level food service, so you would have to leave the complex or cook yourself for main meal purposes. The "supermarket", isn't a supermarket. Its not even a convenience store. Its a small room that sells very little, again a few snacks, some frozen pizza and milk, but you couldn't do a shop there, again we had to go and find a Walmart. The gym, again a small room with a couple of running machines and some weights, not a full gym by any stretch of the imagination. There is a concierge service, so I am led to believe, and I am sure that they can arrange things for you.I guess what I am saying is that this is really a nice place to stay, but as a "resort" it is not what you think it should be, however it represented good value for money at the time, but for us I am not sure that we would stay again, given the lack of facilities and anything to do.Overall not disstisfied and feel the very good is a true representation of WorldQuest.
LOVED this resort. Definitely recommend! Had such a good time, staff was amazing and so accomodating. The pool and drinks were so much fun. Will be visiting again for sure, and I absolutely can't wait! Loved Orlando!
My friends and I stayed at the WorldQuest Resort last week for 5 days for a "Girls Trip". We were all impressed with the Resort. It was easy to get to Disney, only about 4 minutes to the main Disney fare. It was also easy to get to the local grocery store and some restaurants and shopping. We had a 3 bedroom villa, each bedroom had its own bathroom. The main living area had an open kitchen, dining area and living room. Be aware if you do plan to cook, the kitchen is plenty big, but there aren't all the pots/pans/utensils that most are used to. The unit was clean and filler like our own little home away from home. The check in staff was helpful and friendly. The pool area was beautiful and quiet. As a matter of fact, we all remarked that it was a shame there weren't more people enjoying it. Overall, I enjoyed our stay and would recommend for people who are looking for an Orlando area vacation, but not staying on Disney property.
Super clean facility, friendly staff, nice pools, and great location! This resort is minutes away from theme parks, shopping, and restaurants. Great place to go with a large group of family or friends.
When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and checked in in a timely manner. The room was very clean, and staff was very friendly! The resort has a great large pool and pool area, with a tiki bar that serves food and drinks. Overall it was a great experience!
