Sirata Beach Resort
- What's Included
We partied with Kathy and she was awesome! If you are in the area worth the trip. Super friendly and a good time. We were there on a Friday and they had live music starting at 1pm and kept us there until 5pm. Would defiantly go back!
Stayed this past weekend for a close get away. This hotel has been around for many years. It is currently under going renovations which it desperately needs . It looks tired. Everything about this place is outdated. I believe once these upgrades are complete it may receive a higher rating. The location is great with it being right on the gulf. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Everyone we came into contact with always had a smile. You may walk to many places. There are several restaurants to choose from. We were happy with all hotel meals. Harry's on the beach attracts a local crowd along with the resort guests. They have live music on weekends. The hotel has a gym. They hit you up for many different fees. Even the beach chairs are high. We found the hotel loud.
Came for a family wedding and was impressed by the location and physical attributes of the property. The beach pools etc are lovely and the upstairs ball room was great. The rooms need an update and they should look into the little details that truly differentiate a resort like this. 11am check out is arcane and one day our room didn't get serviced. They have good personal touches like the texts, which i enjoyed. I think the service quality and the room upgrades could bump Sirata up a tier. With the property, views and amenities, it has every opportunity to do so.
This friendly and somewhat tired resort harkens back to the 1950s with its traditional decor and serviceable food. On the plus side, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the location is superb. This would be a great project for an investor to give this lovely old place a complete makeover with all of the latest amenities and styles. An update is long overdue!
Once all the renovations are done and they get all the kinks worked out this should be a great place to stay. Right now the standard rooms are very very old looking. We upgraded to an ocean front suite that was newly renovated. Was nice but water was warm not hot, went cold in middle of shower, Internet on 8th floor was non existent. TV system is something we have never experienced before and do not want to ever again. Food good at all dining venues. Beach was very nice if that is all you are looking for. Be prepared to pay big bucks for lounge chairs and umbrellas (not Sirata but private vendor). Not sure you get your money’s worth now ... maybe in the future.
