Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites
- What's Included
Rooms in suite were attractive, clean, and nicely furnished. Everything that was needed for daily living was furnished. Courtyard between two buildings was nicely landscaped with fountains and benches for sitting. Our greeter at the front desk, Concetta, was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, hot tub, plus a short walk to the beach.
We stayed here on suggestion of friends, and they were right! The staff was awesome and the condo/rentals were what we expected. I liked that the two bedrooms were separated. Now mind you, I would give this a 4 **** star rating due to there being some cosmetic issues. Some places are more dated than others, and we expected this, but it was not too bad. We gave it five stars because the setting, the staff, the barstaff and front office made up for it. This place is right in heart of things and easy walk to it all. You have to understand there are still some VRBO units in this place that Sunset Vistas has not purchased yet. I would still go through Sunset Vistas to get one of their places because of the quality of service and location of the place. The pool was nice, and having a large deck out back to view the sunset was awesome. The "tornado" like gas lighting on deck at night was a great feature. All in all, price vs value vs staff equals a five star rating for the place.Cons: some dated units. Our unit was more dated than the friends who also stayed at Sunset Vistas the time we did. Some of our carpeting was coming unraveled near edges, some caulking could of been done over in bathroom and the counter tops would need replacing in near future for our suite, but not our friends. Also appliances were a little dated in ours, and not our friends. This is only the second 5 star rating I have given a place or business. This would should speak volumes to the staff, and also to the location of Sunset Vistas. We are already wondering and trying to plan to go back again. Oh yeah, dont forget the world famous ice cream shop right next door, lines out the door every night and WELL worth it.
We stayed for four nights at spring break and found the rooms and facilities clean and well cared for. The pools were clean and inviting and the rooms were as well. The location was convenient and if you want to be on the beach, a good value.
We stayed here over spring break 2017. The suite was large, the hotel was quiet despite being fully booked. Very nice beach and plenty of room for everyone. The pool was very crowded in the day so my 3 teens would go at night. Walking distance to John's Pass. Ice cream shop right next door to the hotel. Snacks, drinks, necessities across the street at Circle K. Overall a nice stay while visiting local colleges like Eckerd and University of Tampa.
This spot has all the comforts of home!We found this pearl on the beach after checking several accommodations in and around Treasure Island. The desk clerk was most accommodating and we got a good rate. Beautifully appointed suite! 2 bdrm/2 baths, kitchen, eating and living area, outside deck! Clean and comfortable! Gorgeous expansive beach with chair rentals available. They also had a beach box with items left to use...chairs, floats, toys! Also a pleasant surprise, a patio bar with live entertainment, beautiful pool, and snack and restaurant near lobby. Our family enjoyed it all, and we plan to return in the future!
