Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites
- What's Included
Ok, the good, the bad and the ugly. First the good - I worked with an owner named Kathy, Her unit was booked so she helped me find another. She was so great. Prompt, helpful everything I could ask. Front desk check in very pleasant.Bad & Ugly - Unit was extremely dirty for price and expectations. Dining room chairs were all stained, mold growing along tub in bathroom, mirrors not clean and corners in unit need cleaning attention (I noticed as we have a crawling baby). As soon as I contacted Kathy with photos the night of arrival she must have contacted the front desk ( I never heard from Kathy so this was disappointing but she must have forwarded my concerns) the next morning they were at the unit cleaning. The mold and mirrors were immediately addressed and the chairs were removed to have the upholstery cleaned. A few hours later they came back looking great - so why wasn't this done on routine cleaning? We were happy with the size of unit true to photos and description, just disappointed in the cleanliness however, they fixed and addressed everything we asked them to do very promptly!!!! A great location to the beach! I would give them another chance........
We stayed here with our daughters for 1 night, had rented a 2 bedrooms condo, the condo was a bit run down. There was a nice kitchen, living room with old couches, 2 bathrooms. This place was $209US a night and i don't personally think that it was worth the price. There is a pool with ocean view which is nice. The ocean is very nice for long walks. The condos were walking distance for John's Pass so that was a great plus. All in all i would not stay not there again.
pros: nice distance to the beach with nice ocean view.apt with washer n dryer besides kitchen with basic utensils2 toiletsdesignated parking slot. cons:kinda old with old furnishings n kitchen equipment n toiletinadequate cooking utensils n too few cutleriesweak shower pressure.not many eateries or supermarket nearby
This is a nice place to stay. We had a room on 2nd floor that was right by the pool. The room was nice, 2 bedrooms, 1 with a king and 1 with a queen. Washer and dryer, full kitchen including dishwasher, couch in the living room had a pullout queen as well. The bedrooms were a little small, but still worked fine for our family of 5. The beach view and the beach is worth the price by far. There is roughly 75 yards of beach before the waterfront and it's all great, clean sand. We've stayed at plenty of beach front hotels and resorts and this hotel ranks fairly high on our list. Beautiful sunsets from the hotel pool, our room, and on the beach. The only things we would change would be to move the restaurant 100 yards closer to the beach, and to increase the amount of maid service to the room. They only "service" the room every full 2nd day you stay. That only includes towels though as we found as as we ran out of toilet paper and had to call to get some. All in all, it's a comfy stay and we would stay again if we were in the area.
Stayed here with my wife and I laws for a one night getaway. Stayed in gulf front room on 5th floor. Views were amazing! Plenty of room in the suite, and everything you could need. Beds were comfortable too. Would stay again if in the area.
