We spent a couple nights here at the Tradewinds. What a beautiful resort and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very nice. We didn't eat here but there are several restaurants within the resort. Very family friendly.
We stayed at the Trade Winds on 3 separate occasions through October and we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, especially for families. Clearly the hotel is a little tired and could do with a refurb, but in terms of value for money, we will be visiting again next year. Generally, all of the staff are very friendly especially the following:• Tiffany at the Starbucks counter in reception, a lovely friendly human being• Kevin Keffe, who hosts the Karaoke among other jobs, he’s a fabulous entertainer and really gets the customers going, a real fun guy• Audra & Francis in the Palm Court restaurant, both great professionals and the food was lovely, possibly the best we’ve had in the USAJust a couple of notes of caution:• Watch out for the Bluegreen Predators, fine if you’re interested in time share but if you’re not, they are very persistent. Theirs a lady who hovers around the pools a few time a day who looks like grandma out of the Walton’s, she is Bluegreen and she will be on your case• Avoid buying water from the Flying Bridge restaurant and bar, it’s $3.50 a bottle, outrageously expensive and much cheaper down the road at Publix
We stayed here with 3 kids. It was great for the kids! Lots of activities around the pool! The hotel needs some renovations. It is a pricey hotel to have such out of date accommodations. That being said we would still go back! It was a great time!!
I commend the staff for going above and beyond. They were very helpful, courteous and kind. This resorts suits all trips from family, romantic to business.Go..just go if you are thinking about it! The beach, sun and sand are fantastic!Rooms were clean and welcoming. My wife had no complaints....at all! :)
We were here for a conference based on military losses. The staff were supportive, interactive and helpful. Rooms, pools, restaurants, spa were great. I felt at home immediately. We had an ocean view....relaxing and fulfilling vacation. Thanks
