Maybe it's because many reviews said there was severe racism... I didn't feel it at all when I went this time. . . I wonder if there was a misunderstanding because of the tip part among Asians... When we go to a restaurant, we leave the tip on the table in advance after ordering food.

Food is usually salty. In particular, the Dragon (Asian food) restaurant is too good. I heard that food in hot regions is generally salty.
Room service and breakfast food were okay (I recommend ordering it in time the day before), but the dinner food took a long time and felt like fast food.

Every time I go to a hotel, they ask me if it's a special trip. I recommend alcohol that you have to pay for, but you can just not worry about it. I don't need much Mexican money.
Be sure to prepare a lot of US $1.

We usually only pay $1 when ordering three or more drinks at once, $1 per person for breakfast and lunch, and $2 per person for dinner. It seemed like the person cleaning the room service ($1) and the person cleaning the minibar ($2) were different, so I left it behind and ordered a bottle of tequila each time (I wrote about it in the note). It was a small bottle (375ml) each time, but they prepared it for me so I brought 3 bottles with me when I returned from my trip. Compared to hotels in hot areas, it was generally a clean hotel because it was well-maintained.

As is the case everywhere, activities and trips are twice as expensive inside the hotel, so I recommend going to a nearby mall and bargaining.

Secret the Vine Cancun
1.Room
Definitely not 5 stars. Preferred Club rooms, unless they are on the top level, have no bathroom, poor shower facilities, and no bidet. The room view was good and the room service was better than expected, so 5 points.

2.Restaurant
The breakfast buffet menu rarely changes and is generally the same.
And the food in each restaurant is not as tasty as expected and is salty.

3. Pool & Sea
The view from the first floor swimming pool to the sea is also nice.
The view from the infinity pool on the 12th floor of Preferred Club is also really nice. And the servers move around frequently, so ordering drinks is easy.

If you look at other reviews, they say that Koreans were ignored due to racial discrimination, but I never felt that during my stay and everyone was friendly.

I tipped $2 when I ordered my first cocktail, and then tipped it again the next day when I ordered my first cocktail.
At the restaurant, I left $2 for breakfast and lunch and $5-10 for dinner on the table. I also gave $2 to the room maid and $2 each to room service.

Thanks for the best honeymoon ever!

Very nice hotel, the staff are so attentive and hard working. Great drink selection. Have given 4 stars as some of our meals were underwhelming. Loved the steakhouse and the Mediterranean restaurant but I wasnt impressed with the main courses in the Italian or Asian restaurants (asian food is my all time favourite).
Having some more evening entertainment would really elevate this hotel. There is only one pool table in the sports bar but even adding a dart board and a few other games would give you some options to entertain yourself.

Enjoyed a 10 day vacation at Secret's The Vine Cancun; the location is fabulous as all the rooms have views of the ocean on one side and a bay on the other side. I purchased the preferred section which is very much worth it; a private infinity pool with its own restaurant (breakfast & lunch) and each floor has its own butler (thank you to Alberto S for all your assistance, you enhanced our vacation). The gym is fantastic and the beach / waterfront is beautiful and securely guarded so that no one other than Secrets guests can come into the hotel area. Restaurants have great food!!!!

The staff was excellent and one of the best features of the place, not one rude person. The hotel was very clean and nice. The food was okay but it’s what I expected for all inclusive. The meat was usually fatty and chewy. The Wi-Fi was horrible so make sure you have an unlimited cell plan and good cell service.

This resort has the most disturbing business practices. One of their representatives asked us if we would be willing to do a tour of Secrets, and we would receive a complimentary breakfast at their resort. We wanted to check out Secrets because we were interested in staying there. Secrets sent a taxi to come and get us from our other resort.

When we arrived at Secrets, we sat down with a sales representative from Secrets. The rep asked us for very personal information and financial information. We declined to answer, and we were told we needed to provide it or leave because it was required for the tour.

We explained that we were just told it was a tour and breakfast. The Secrets rep did not seem to care. My wife and I had to walk back to our own resort because we would not provide details about our lives and finances.

This was a very disturbing situation to be in and shame on you Secrets for misleasing us; and having us walk back to our resort.

During my recent stay at Secrets The Vine Cancun resort, I encountered several issues that detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, a persistent sewer-like smell in the room was quite off-putting. Additionally, the resort's physical condition appeared to be lacking in places, with broken tiles visible in certain venues.

The air conditioning system seemed to be malfunctioning throughout the property, affecting not just the lounge and buffet dining area but the rooms as well. This led to uncomfortably warm conditions, making it difficult to enjoy the resort's amenities without sweating.

Entertainment options were limited and underwhelming, further diminishing the resort's appeal. The Vine Bar, one of the few entertainment spots, could barely accommodate 20-25 people, often leaving no place to sit. Furthermore, the layout of the resort was confusing, with the concierge desk awkwardly situated in a dimly lit, mundane section.

Cleanliness was another concern, particularly at the breakfast buffet where the glass wall, which should have offered a beautiful view of the outside pool, was marred by poor maintenance and obscured visibility.

The resort's internet connection was frustratingly slow, significantly impacting the convenience of staying connected or getting work done during my stay.

Despite these issues, it wasn't all negative. The Mediterranean restaurant, OLio, was a highlight of my visit. The food there was impeccable, and the service, especially by our server German, was professional and exceptional. It was a breath of fresh air amidst the other disappointments.

The spa experience was another positive aspect, with Josephina providing a fantastic massage that stood out as a truly relaxing and professional service.

In conclusion, while there were notable high points in terms of dining and spa services, my stay at Secrets The Vine Cancun was marred by a range of issues from maintenance and cleanliness to comfort and entertainment. These areas significantly detracted from what could have been a much more enjoyable visit.

This is a standard luxury resort.

Not the same since the Hyatt purchase and new management doesn’t bring the standard up to prior ownership.

The beach is short and steep.

Close to airport.

Employees are great!

This place is a must stay if you are visiting Cancun. Attentive and helpful staff that try to see to your every need. Nice food options and filled with luxury. I've stayed here 2x now.

An unforgettable experience, a very romantic view of the pier and the beach, there for spa, very good service, very friendly and smiling people 😃🍀👌🏻🌼☀️😍

Amazing resort,all inclusive and +18.
One of the best resorts in Cancun.

We're back, and the Dreams chain (now Hyatt) maintains the desired level
Summary: Excellent attention, very good food, excellent rooms. 100% recommended for people who like a relaxing environment without much noise. It's only for adults

Overall I would give the hotel a 9/10.
Beach: 8/10
Quarters: 10/10
Attention: 10/10
Food: 8.5/10
Cost-Benefit: 8/10

Details
Rooms:
Positive: The Honeymoon suite ocean front is simply fantastic. The other rooms are spacious and comfortable. They do the daily cleaning, and at night they go once again to leave it ready for bedtime. The view is magnificent
Negative: The toilet door is made of glass, not wood.

General attention of the staff:
Positive: Excellent, detail-oriented and help with everything that is requested of them and if they see you with a doubtful face, they approach you and ask how they can help.
Negative: You can no longer obtain the preferred-club without staying in a preferred room. The difference between the room we stayed in and the preferred one of the same category is the floor level (preferred from 20 and up), just that.
Regarding the preferred-club, it allows you to use an infinity pool that is not worth much, and also allows you to access a more private lobby where they serve coffee and sweet and savory things (nothing that they don't serve in the cafe in the main lobby). It also allows you to have breakfast at the Olio restaurant.

Restaurants/Foods:
Positive: The breakfast restaurant offers many varieties and the food is excellent. For dinner there are 5 restaurants, and recommendations go to Blue water grill and Nebiolo. No reservations are necessary and there is always space for all guests with a maximum wait of 40 minutes.
Negative: Lunch in the main room does not have many options. Prefer to eat a hamburger or quesadillas on the beach. For dinner on one occasion we tried to have dinner at Olio but they offered a different menu than what was on the app, so we went to another restaurant.
The room service is very good and is scheduled through the app or through a written form.

Beach/Pools:
The positive: The service on the beach is excellent for both drinks and food. The sea in front of the beach is quite regular with very few or almost no stones. There are life savers controlling all the time. The pools are varied (there are 3) and the dynamics are very good
The negative: The space on the beach is small so there are up to 4 rows of chairs. You have to get up early to grab the chairs in front (between 07:00 and 07:30). There are many sellers who constantly come to offer their products.

Other services:
Gym: Spacious, with sea views. Although there were many people, it was possible to use the devices
SPA: It is worth it if they give you the discount for listening to the membership talk. If you are going to pay the 225 dollars, it is better to cross the street because there is a spa in front of the hotel.
Hyatt Membership Talk: Just listen if you are going to take advantage of the SPA discount. To acquire membership, only do so if you really, really, really plan to make at least 3 all-inclusive trips in the next 5 years, and if the total price of the membership is below 6,000 dollars (six thousand). Don't waste your time listening to the stratospheric offers, tell them how much you can pay so that the "discount show" from 250 thousand dollars to 5 thousand is not very extensive.

Events:
There is always some type of event or shows from 6 to 11 p.m. But they are calm in nature, nothing very hectic.

Beautiful place, delicious food, it's not cheap at all, but the experience is worth it.
All the people who work there are very friendly.
The beach is super clean and the facilities are very new and well-kept.

The beach is beautiful and the bathing beach is comfortable

Excellent service 👍 I loved it

Overall great experience and would even go again!
Pros: clean beach and poolside area, easy to get a table for dinner (we went right at 6pm though), good drinks, attentive wait staff, good poolside entertainment but not a ton.
Cons: guest rooms were a bit used and abused (but sort of expected for an all-inclusive in Cancun so set your expectations appropriately), getting chairs by the pool was weird (needed to get down there by like 7am to get a good spot and then sometimes people reserve spots and NEVER COME DOWN), not a lot of evening entertainment (could step it up there).
Highlights: the food for an all-inclusive was GREAT (and I can be picky with food), we upgraded to the Honeymoon suite, and it was AMAZING. The views in the morning, the tub, the balcony. Just splurge and get it you won't regret it.
We were only there for 3 nights and stayed on the resort the full time. If you plan to stay longer I would recommend doing things off property as 3 days on property was plenty.
